Pretty nice place! Decent beer selection and drinks. If you’re picky about your old fashioned get something different. Wasn’t horrible just crushed ice lol, I’m picky.

Food and service was good. Didn't want to give out menus. Pricey, but normal for Blacksburg, I guess. Music and other noises too loud. Ladies room was dirty eventhough only a couple of patrons during lunch.

Walked in here after wandering around downtown Blacksburg. Was delighted to see they had happy hour so drafts were pretty cheap from 3-6.
We ordered some cocktails and draft beer- all of which was excellent ! We also ordered the smoked rabbit egg rolls. The peanut dipping sauce was wonderful with just a slight kick of heat- the other sauce - a roasted corn sauce maybe? Really had no flavor - so I just mixed it with the peanut sauce. The egg rolls themselves were good and a good portion for two of us to share for a snack.

Drinks are really good, the pasta dish I got was excellent. My experience here gets better and better each time I come.

Not great. Took 30+ mins to get our food for our party of four. We ordered simple things. The food came and my mushroom burger had no mushrooms.
While they do offered vegan/vegetarian options, they cooked my burger and veggies on a grill where other meat had been. Gross. My food tasted like it had been grilled in meat fat. Yuck.
First time here and we had great service and experience. They have inside and outside seating. Dogs are welcome in the outside seating.
Went on a Tuesday and every purchase of a beer, a dollar went to a charity of your choosing which was really nice.
The lamb burger and fried chicken sandwich was amazing. Really loved the veggies for the side.
Parking can be tricky but there are parking lots near and some street parking close too.

Has very relaxed wing policy for wing Wednesday. Would give 6 stars if I could. The atmosphere reminds me of the set for the Jerry Springer Show with is pretty neat.

The beer here is very good, but the star on the show is definitely the food. Very inventive riffs on several classics, including a not- to-be-missed, to die for, duck confit roll. I joked with the waitress that even if my daughter wasn't going to school here, I would still consider driving the six and a half hours just for the egg rolls. 🙃

We went to The Maroon Door before the VA Tech students had returned for the fall so YMMV. The service and food were excellent. We got lucky on the parking but I can see how some who try to drive to this restaurant may have a tough time finding parking close by.

Great location, menu option, and a fantastic burger on made in house buns. I even got to briefly chat with the owner. Directly across from VT with home brewed beer this is a fantastic choice with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating both tables and bar.
