Incorrect or old photos on Google Maps. The food photos on Google Maps look delicious, but most items have been discontinued. I believe they changed ownership lately. We didn't feel welcome from the beginning; it was 8:00 p.m. They decided to close all the booths and move us to the bar side with the till chair. The food quality is just fast food and doesn't justify the price.
Kid-friendliness: It's more like a bar.

Decent food at an okay price with okay ambiance. Popular with the Virginia Tech event crowd.

Everything was amazing. Smoked Rabbit egg rolls for the appetizer and the lamb burger for my main meal. If only I wasn't 3 and a half hours away. I'd be here on a regular basis.

Mixed feelings. I’ve been rejected from Maroon Door every time I’ve tried to get in during the evening- they’ve told me that they’re not taking new customers an hour before closure. I’ve also not been a fan of some one staff member’s attitude towards one of my friends.
Decided to give them a try on a Monday, and it went very differently. There was almost no one else in the restaurant and it went a lot better! I got a BLT, which was unorthodox but good. It had a fried tomato in it, which was an interesting take on the T portion.
As a whole, I’d recommend that you avoid coming near closing time - otherwise, not bad.

A flight of truly delicious craft beers and some spectacular Pumpkin Aloo Gobi. Food, beer, and service were all top notch, I can not recommend this place enough. It will be my go-to when in Blacksburg.

Came here prior to a football game from out of town. Came in around 11:30am for some drinks and lunch and it was slow (3:30 game) but quickly picked up. The servers and bartenders were a pleasure to chat with and checked on us frequently. For cocktails, the maple old fashioned and spicy cucumber margarita were excellent. Ordered the duck burger and it was quite salty, which was my only complaint, but the flavor was great. All the other food looked incredible and I feel like I might've missed out on trying several different things, but this is one of those places I'll absolutely have to stop in on a gameday.

Enjoyed great food, beer in the morning, then turned away at the bar in the afternoon because a fraternity had a private party for the Steelers NFL game on Sunday. I wasn't even allowed to watch the game (or order a beer) on the bar side. "Please use your server, this is a private party.", I was bluntly told by the bartender; the same bartender that I had very nicely tipped earlier that day.
Biggest problem is there are no TV's on the restaurant side. So, lesson learned. We, all 10 of us well-spending Hokie Alumni, took our thirst, desire to watch the Steelers game, and money to Champs.
Champs on Sunday!

Good food for lunch. Interior drab and TVs are small. Had multiple servers and it took a while to be recognized. It wasn't crowded.

Decent spot for a quick bite. I came here on a Sunday around 8pm (the door says they close at 10pm, but it was relatively empty - 1 other patron at the bar). We asked when they closed and they said we could come in.
The olympics were on so it was nice to be able to follow along some during the meal. We ordered our drinks (prosecco, diet coke) and split a few apps (wings, spring rolls, sliders). Everything came out relatively fast and was pretty good. I really liked the wings, good thick and sticky sauce but really flavorful. Atmosphere-wise, like I said, it was basically empty. I think I might have enjoyed a bit more liveliness but all in all, not a bad place for standard small bite staples.

I was on a very short timetable before my son had to head back to classes. Staff was very accommodating and served us one of the best steaks he has had and my walnut pesto calamarrata was perfect. I can see why the locals recommend this place.
