I kept coming back here because my location at home is so good, but I continuously get disappointed. Today was the last straw. My smoothie was not blended well at all. Every time I would slurp through the straw, it would get stuck. all of the other times I've gotten food here, there has been two small pieces of chicken on items with chicken or what looks to be half a scrambled egg for items with eggs. This location absolutely sucks. They do not give you what you pay for and the quality of everything is really shitty. i shoulda taken photos of the food. never going back.
^i wrote this after multiple visits that were all bad. but this semester, i just tried it again. got the detox island green and it was PERFECT and also the turkey bacon ranch and it was like the best sandwich i've had and they toasted it. I'm rlly happy with the improvements so i changed the star review. thank you guys!

I drove about 20 minutes to get to this place. According to their posted hours, they close at 10:00 PM, but I arrived at 9:29 PM and was told they were already closed.
If they actually close at 9:30, that should be clearly stated instead of advertising a 10:00 PM closing time. After driving 20 minutes, this was very frustrating.
On top of that, the door was open, which gives the impression that the business is still operating. I walked in, only to be told inside that they were closed.
This is confusing and disappointing. It would be helpful if the business either updated their posted hours or honored the hours they advertise, out of respect for customers. 01/05/26

Workers will never greet you and while waiting I had 3 people obviously look at me, and finish what they're doing before they even ask why you're there. They just finish their tasks first instead of talking and working like every other restaurant I deliver for does.

I placed a curbside order at 9am this morning, after checking the hours it looked like they opened at 7am. I arrived at this location at 9:10am and waited, just to watch an employee or manager come and finally open the door at 9:30. They walked in and locked the door back. A family walked by and tried to go in as well and the door was still locked. I had to eventually leave because I don’t know about you but I don’t have time to sit and wait an hour for food. If you don’t open at 7am then make sure your websites have accurate hours. Never got the food, and still out of my money with no way of canceling the order. And nobody will answer the phone.

Food is good. Tropical Smoothie Cafe knows how to make food and smoothies. They need to hire more workers, and those workers need to work faster. They have max two people total any time I’m there, and orders often take a long time.

I ordered online at 10:30 am for a pick up at 11:45. Lesson learned - never pick up later. They apparently made my two wraps and smoothies at 10:30 am. So when I picked them up at 11:45 - the smoothies had melted and the wraps were soggy. My wrap - the supergreen was so poorly wrapped that it was all over the inside of the exterior wrapper. My smoothie tasted like some things were left out.

The music was so loud it gave me a headache. They didn’t have 2 items and couldn’t tell me what was missing (I would have taken the item with an item removed). I got overwhelmed and left. My son enjoyed his smoothie. Food is good but atmosphere needs work

I ordered my food and sat down near the counter to wait. I guess this counter is also their work station for the blender cups in queue, because an employee was nearby filling the cups with ice. However, she was throwing the ice in the blender cups so aggressively that it was flying off the counter onto the floor below and hitting me (I am sure that her actions can be seen on any cameras of the front lobby). When I made eye contact with her after the second scoop, she made no acknowledgement of her actions or attempted to offer an apology. Whoever the brown young lady is with the blonde ponytail…she was extremely rude.

I ordered through the Tropical Smoothie app. A wrap, chips, and a Smoothie. The door dasher only brought me my Smoothie. I tried contacting the store but there phone was off the hook and I couldn't get through. As annoying as that was when I was so excited to eat. I went to the store after I got off of work. Explained what had happened and they replaced my wrap for free and let me keep the old one that was still sitting in the door dash section of the store. It was hot and fresh. It was absolutely delicious. I ended up eating half in my car because I couldn't resist. It wasn't Tropicals fault for the missing items. I'm just happy at the end of a very long shift I still got my food!

The place was filthy. When I walked in, there was a bunch of kids sitting down on their phones talking. I thought they were customers. I go up to the register and wait for about ten minutes. Those kids that were just sitting on their phones and talking, get up and proceed to walk behind the register without acknowledging me. I realized that they're working there. They don't turn around and acknowledge me at the register. Instead, they walk to the back and start talking.
I say "excuse me are y'all open?"
And i'm ignored.
I ask again. And some kid walks up, and says, yes, we're open, sorry, we had a flood. There is maybe a small puddle in the back.
Finally I order my food.
I get my order. I didn't check it when I left. I got home and open my food and it's wrong. I ordered 1 pesto chicken flat and 1 chipotle, the girl repeated the order back to me. There was no pesto, and made me two chipotle.
I also work as a manager in food service and watch them make my food.
I watched a blonde girl drop someone's order on the ground in the bag and put it back on the makeline. It was her ordered because she walked out with it without paying. Still gross it was on the ground and back where OTHER FOOD IS MADE. And then pick it back up. It wasn't my order but that's disgusting.
Also our smoothies were ok, super watered down though.
Your staff should also be wearing gloves while making food, and if not washing their hands much more consistently. Disgusting.
The only person in there who was working when I came in, was the black lady with red hair.
The rest of your staff should be fired.
