I ordered my food and sat down near the counter to wait. I guess this counter is also their work station for the blender cups in queue, because an employee was nearby filling the cups with ice. However, she was throwing the ice in the blender cups so aggressively that it was flying off the counter onto the floor below and hitting me (I am sure that her actions can be seen on any cameras of the front lobby). When I made eye contact with her after the second scoop, she made no acknowledgement of her actions or attempted to offer an apology. Whoever the brown young lady is with the blonde ponytail…she was extremely rude.
I ordered through the Tropical Smoothie app. A wrap, chips, and a Smoothie. The door dasher only brought me my Smoothie. I tried contacting the store but there phone was off the hook and I couldn't get through. As annoying as that was when I was so excited to eat. I went to the store after I got off of work. Explained what had happened and they replaced my wrap for free and let me keep the old one that was still sitting in the door dash section of the store. It was hot and fresh. It was absolutely delicious. I ended up eating half in my car because I couldn't resist. It wasn't Tropicals fault for the missing items. I'm just happy at the end of a very long shift I still got my food!
The place was filthy. When I walked in, there was a bunch of kids sitting down on their phones talking. I thought they were customers. I go up to the register and wait for about ten minutes. Those kids that were just sitting on their phones and talking, get up and proceed to walk behind the register without acknowledging me. I realized that they're working there. They don't turn around and acknowledge me at the register. Instead, they walk to the back and start talking.
I say "excuse me are y'all open?"
And i'm ignored.
I ask again. And some kid walks up, and says, yes, we're open, sorry, we had a flood. There is maybe a small puddle in the back.
Finally I order my food.
I get my order. I didn't check it when I left. I got home and open my food and it's wrong. I ordered 1 pesto chicken flat and 1 chipotle, the girl repeated the order back to me. There was no pesto, and made me two chipotle.
I also work as a manager in food service and watch them make my food.
I watched a blonde girl drop someone's order on the ground in the bag and put it back on the makeline. It was her ordered because she walked out with it without paying. Still gross it was on the ground and back where OTHER FOOD IS MADE. And then pick it back up. It wasn't my order but that's disgusting.
Also our smoothies were ok, super watered down though.
Your staff should also be wearing gloves while making food, and if not washing their hands much more consistently. Disgusting.
The only person in there who was working when I came in, was the black lady with red hair.
The rest of your staff should be fired.

App failed to keep free smoothie claim
Pertaining purely to service- curbside pickup should not be listed as an option if it will not be properly adhered to. I have tried it twice now, and both times were very inefficient. In both instances, I indicated that I was on my way/at the pickup spot using the text message link that was sent and had arrived after my order was promised to be ready.
The first time, I arrived at a busier part of the day, so I figured there would be some delay in bringing the order out to me. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I called the store. The worker brought up my name before I did, indicating that they knew I had a curbside pickup order. I got my order within the next couple of minutes.
The second time, I arrived early (pickup estimate 7:34 am) and there were no customers in or outside of the store. I waited for a bit inside my car and noticed that no worker was at the front at all. Even when I eventually walked in, no worker(s) came out. I grabbed my order and walked out of the store.
Whatever system is in place for this process needs to be modified and/properly adhered to. If the customer 1) selects a preference and 2) does everything they are expected to do, the store needs to uphold their end of the experience/transaction.
We recently stopped in for our first smoothie from this TSC location. Really can't go wrong with any of their menu's smoothie items- every one I've tried so far is tasty. Be aware of those ~700 calories, though. Don't forget about the kids menu for your little ones to save a buck.We did have to wait a little while since it was busy and we didn't order online.I wonder what happened to that camera high up in the corner of the room??

I love this place, they have good food, sometimes limit their ingredients, but usually orders are ok. However, today their delivery was SO slow…took an entire hour to get my order. Placed it at 12:03 and the tag on my order says it was ready at 12:08.30. They use DoorDash for delivery and the Dasher didn’t get my order to me until 1:04 pm. Our food was cold and my smoothie was more liquid than smoothie…so disappointed! Dasher said DD gave her a nearby order (next door) that they had her pick up and she had to wait on it. Then DD requited her to deliver it first because delivery address came before mine on the delivery route. I tried contacting DoorDash, but they threw it back to Tropical Smoothie. Maybe Tropical needs a new delivery service!

I used to to get smoothies here often. The other week they were closed and just posted a sign on the door as I was picking up mobile order. Called and said they were refunding people. Never got my smoothie or a refund.

I just went there and ordered a turkey and bacon sandwich and a Bahama Mama, and the sandwich is missing the bacon, and the smoothie is very watered down. It was a $10 sandwich with turkey and lettuce on it…

Waited about 30 mins to get my entire order today. I let them know I had been waiting for the last part of my order and one of the girls asked them to make it. The young lady who made the sandwich seemed annoyed that she had to make it. To make matters worse we get back to my daughters apartment to find out her sandwich was cold, the cheese hadn’t been melted and the chicken was cold. Very disappointing to say the least.
We splurge for this every couple of weeks. The new one in Salem is very nice but it's coupled with a sub shop so parking and travel through the drive thru could be potentially slow. If they keep the blades sharpened on the blenders it's a good time!
My wrap was the size of a hot pocket.
