We had a class reunion for a 1960 class. The room was great for our small group. we only had 27 in our class and 1/2 have passed and only had 7 show up. We had hoped to have 19 but only 7 showed up. Mitchell's had no problem with the small group even thought the room for many more.The food was good and the service was above average. For an individual, couple, family or group I highly recommend Mitchell's.

Stopped in for lunch around 2:00pm. Missed the rush. The seating area was clean and in good repair showing that they do care about the impression they want to leave for the customer.I had the patty melt with a mac n' cheese side while my Bride had the nachos. Both were good, served promptly and still hot. The mushrooms were large and not the premade type some restaurants get from their suppliers. Will be back for a second helping soon.The staff and food were welcoming and definitely left us with that we will be back feeling. A recommend stop when in Blackstone.

We took a little Antique road trip to Blackstone this weekend, and stopped in at Mitchell's for lunch.It's a cute homey little place with a fairly decent variety. I had the Nachos, and hubby had the patty melt with a side of Mac and cheese. We ordered an appetizer of fried mushrooms, and we both had a diet soda.The mushrooms were good, nice large breaded shrooms, they served it with a horseradish sauce which I don't care for, so they happily supplied us with a cup of ranch. Hubby enjoyed his food, I was in the mood for a club sandwich, but they only had a turkey club, so I settled on the nachos. They were your basic nachos, not too bad, but a bit skimpy with the toppings. The staff were very friendly, and our waitress gave good service. It was a nice relaxing lunch.Price before tip was about $39
Everything is good but they don’t listen to any customization you make to order. The biggest problem was seasoning. They seem to not even know what salt is let alone any thing else. Nothing had seasoning and was very bland, multiple people and we all had the most bland unseasoned food we’ve had at as restaurant. Teens working were also annoying. They also let toddlers run around yelling.

Nasty frozen food slapped together to make a meal. Would not recommend. Poor service, slow and wasn't crowded. Got order wrong. Kids meals are cheap frozen food heated up. Hot dog bun harder than a rock. Not offered any specials. Do not get tacos, you'll be sick!
