A gem. Donna was warm & knowledgeable and selected a lovely wine for us. We enjoyed it beside a fire. RC was also gracious.

Always a great place. Even on a rainy fall afternoon, one can experience a wonderful view.

Beautiful setting, tasty wine, disappointing service.

The views and grounds here are genuinely beautiful, and the wine itself was good quality. However, our experience was significantly marred by the service we received from the ‘manager’ working that afternoon.

From the start, the tone felt off. My wife was not allowed to use a photo of her license for ID verification (not a problem elsewhere considering her obvious age), and then the manager proceeded to card our entire party - something we observed wasn’t happening with other guests. It felt arbitrary and made us all feel unwelcome.

Later, when the manager brought food to our table and to light our gas fire, her demeanor toward my wife was noticeably curt and impatient when my wife happened to be sitting in front of the fire controls. The tone wasn’t what you’d expect from someone in hospitality - it felt aggressive and needlessly sharp. After my wife and friend addressed this, the manager did apologize, but the pattern of mistreatment had already been established. Strangely, she apologized to one of our party again later and not to my wife — the person to whom she repeatedly transgressed against — as if she couldn’t tell the two of them apart.

Some of the food was overpriced for what it was - basic store-bought chips and salsa at a premium. But honestly, the bigger issue was the atmosphere created by the service. When a manager is working alone and clearly overwhelmed, that stress shouldn’t translate into treating guests - particularly some guests more than others - with impatience or disrespect.

If you’re looking for a place with beautiful views and decent wine, this delivers. But be prepared for service that may vary significantly depending on who you are.

First visit! Great wine! Great atmosphere and beautiful scenery. Wine server was very knowledgeable and friendly. She made our visit special! Will be back to this one.

We were not allowed to go in because I didn’t have my id with me, and I am almost 40, clearly older than 18 years old. I have my digital id, which in my country is the official one. Certainly will not come back or recommend it to anyone.

Love their wines. Love the music bingo and enjoy playing it with my grandsons. Love the weekend music. It's all great. I say if you hear otherwise, find out for yourself, don't just take a review as truth, especially if more love it than don't.

Wonderful place to stop into. Beautiful views, delicious wine. Nice tasting area too. Recommend you should stop by.

Attended a gala- well organized and elegant. Very friendly hosts who greeted me warmly. The building was beautiful, second only to the magnificent view of the mountains and farm land seen throw the huge window-wall.

This is one of the more scenic wineries I've visited within the Shenandoah. They offer outdoor seating where you can sip wine and enjoy the view. However, the interior is more basic, and is more of wine mom shop with a stained ceiling in the back. As for the wine, they all tend to run very sweet, and floral when compared to other local Virginia wineries.

- The reds are better here in my opinion
