We went for Sunday brunch. Most of our party got the buffet. So, once the waiter finally took our orders we were able to eat. The brunch buffet isn't huge but it is sufficient and everything tastes good. It consists of breakfast food, pizza, and salad. It wasn't very crowded when we started eating around 11:15 AM but was filling up by the time we left. Our waiter was overwhelmed and not friendly. All he had to do was a few refills (most of us got water so he gave us a pitcher), pick up plates, and bring out one order from the menu. The person who ordered off the menu waited so long for his food that he decided to just get something off the buffet and take his order to go. This was definitely the worst service I've had at Francesco's. I'm sure they are understaffed, but it was really bad. The waiter was tripping over chairs and banging into things and seemed angry to be working. I actually felt bad for him. He was just very unpleasant. Thankfully the food was good and we were able to have a nice family outing. The rest of the staff seemed friendly and welcoming.

Pizza is too greasy for me. I like their Zitti, knot rolls, and steak and cheese subs with homemade chips.

Nice, quiet restaurant. Stopped in for lunch and tried the buffet. It was just ok. Nothing really wowed me that was on it. The best item was the buffalo chicken pizza. Friendly service and good people. However, midevel Italian food

A pale reflection of what it once was. My lasagna consisted of a layer of finely ground beef and sauce, a layer of pasta, and a thick layer of cheese.

We arrived at 12:45 for the lunch buffet that runs from 11:00 to 2:00. Most of the trays were empty or very near empty and what was left in them was hard and dry. I went to the front counter and ask if they had any sauce for the calzone and was told yes but it would cost extra. The different pizzas they had out were ok, nothing special. The front of the house staff spent a lot of time on their phones. I don't know what the menu items are like because we unfortunately got the buffet. This was the worst dinning experience I have had in quite a while and definitely will not be back.

Just not the same with the new owners. Used to be amazing spot for some quality Italian food. Cheese steak was a favorite but now they give you less meat than a McDonald's hamburger on 12 inch sub roll. Basically a lettuce sandwhich. A lot of the menu is the same but offers half the portion size as it used to. No longer will be spending my money here

I enjoyed the food, service and environment. A good country drive from 81 near JMU or other area attractions, but we'll with the trip. Hank made the experience that much better.

If more attention was paid to flavoring the food, it could be a good restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was bland. The chicken cardinal is two very thin chicken tenders topped with a piece of roasted pepper, topped with a thin deli ham slice covered in mozzarella over spaghetti in a tasteless cream sauce. The shrimp scampi served over angel hair pasta was also tasteless. The balance of protein to what looks like a quarter pound of pasta is way off. Both entrees came with bread knots and a salad, both unremarkable. If they correct the flavoring, this could be the go to restaurant in town.

The buffet was pretty underwhelming for 18 dollars. Food had all the right flavors but overcooked in areas. Pizza was tough to chew but at least the garlic bread bites were decent.

Was late to my reservation, when I called in the guy was super chill and said he’ll push it back for us. Our table was still ready. Genesis was a great server and the food was good. Unlimited garlic knots was a plus to. A nice chill spot for me and my girlfriend for valentine’s day weekend. They gave us 10% off for their anniversary which was pretty dope. The lasagna was great as well and the caesar salad. Will definitely be back!

If you're in Bridgewater, I'd drive another 10 minutes to Ciro's for a steak and cheese. At Francesco's I waited 45 minutes for 3 steak and cheese because they forgot to make my order until I arrived (at least it seemed from what I could see in the back). While the sandwiches had decent flavor, they were not the correct order and had the smallest amount of steak I've ever seen; when I opened the box it only looked like two halves of bread. Finally to top it off, the sodas they have up front are expired which I didn't notice until I opened and drank. Pricey for the quality.

The lunch buffet is a must. Everything is delicious and they put out different items on a regular basis to keep it interesting along side the usual pizza, pasta, and salad bar you would expect. The staff are so friendly and they all care so much about food quality and your experience. Just an all-around great place.
