Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a restaurant known for its delicious food and spacious parking. It is a great place to dine, especially during less busy hours, with wheelchair accessibility and friendly staff providing excellent service. Popular menu items include Turkey and Dressing, Sweet Potato Casserole, Pinto Beans, Grilled Chicken Tenders, Apples, Grits, and various desserts. A recent diner praised the restaurant's service and the delicious taste of the Turkey and Dressing, Sweet Potato Casserole, and Pinto Beans.
Another guest reported that this location was the best they had visited, highlighting quick service and friendly staff. They enjoyed the burger with sweet pickles, finding it perfectly balanced, and noted that the chicken tenders were juicy and well-seasoned. Overall, the food was described as delicious, with thick and fluffy biscuits that didn't even need butter. Recent reviews mention that the biscuits are getting smaller and may require requesting extras, possibly due to cost reductions.
One visitor enjoyed the grilled chicken tenders with Mac and cheese, mash taters, greens, and turnips, noting that all were hot and flavorful. They praised the seasoned greens and the crunchy yet juicy cornbread, calling it the best corn muffin they've had since visiting Cracker Barrel. Another guest expressed some disappointment with recent changes, such as the removal of the loaded sweet potato and the new logo. They appreciated the attentive service, especially when informed about a 20-minute wait for Shepherd's Pie, and liked the partitions, though they felt the tables were placed too close. Overall, the food remains consistent in quality across locations, but some feel the restaurant has changed in ways that might affect their visits.
