We went to the store at Exit 63 in Kingsport, near Tri-Cities Airport. We were seated right away, but waited 20 or so minutes with out any service. The tables beside us were quickly waited on. They didn't have many tables seated, so not very busy. We got up and left and drove to Exit 7. We were seated right away, the server (Anna) was there in just a couple of minutes to take our order. The kitchen was slow to get our food out for not being very busy. It was all good, hot and tasty. We typically wouldn't drive to Exit 7 but would return if we are in the area, but we are probably done with Exit 63 location.

I had the homestyle chicken and it came out dry and shriveled up like it had been sitting under the warmer. My daughter had the grilled chicken salad and it ended up having the fried chicken instead on her salad when it came out, dried shriveled up.

Best Cracker Barrel ever! We have been to several Cracker Barrels along the east coast and this one, by far, was the best. The service was great (thanks Kimberly). The food came out quick and the greeter and checkout process was helpful and very friendly. I didn't have enough time to shop as it was our last day of a 4 day trip and had to get going.

It's probably the worst steak I've ever had. I know, I know, but hear me out:
It was rubbery in texture, unevenly cooked, and underseasoned. If you ever go hear foe breakfest just get the pancakes-those were amazing.

Good took forever, waitress was rude when we asked for our bread before the food.

Everything we ate was very good and the wait time was none. The staff was very attentive. Definitely go back. Be sure to join the rewards program.

Dirty bathroom and unpleasant staff

Twice in one week I ordered take out. Both times the cashier and other service people did not greet me any kindness. No thank you, no how can I help you. The bathroom was also disgusting on both visits. Out of paper towels, floors were filthy and toilet paper on floors. This maybe a high volume store, but I will drive further to go another place

Original waitress went home sick or something. Took a while to get me back into rotation, I guess. Was offered no free rolls and my hamburger steak was a frozen, gristle laden pattie. Will not order that again
Second visit was not much better (4-08-25). Bathrooms were filthy, server had no idea how the take home meals worked nor were they informed of the T-MOBILE special deal. They were friendly though. Our drinking glasses had a crust of something on the inside and out. The silverware and plates didn't seem to have the same crust. Biscuits were hot, cornbread was cold. Chicken tenders were ok. I won't order the shrimp and grits again. Flavor was ok but the shrimp were very bland and tasted as if they were cooked separately.
