Taqueria 21 Mexican Restaurant is a culinary gem and one of the top 3 best Mexican restaurants in the tri cities. The food is awesome, phenomenal, and really tasty and fresh, with enough food to keep you full all day. The Nachos Texanos and fresh guacamole were the best this side of the Lone Star state. The huevos rancheros with chorizo, the #19 lunch specials, the posole, and the corn were all delicious. The red chili sauce was excellent. Lunch specials are $9-$10 a plate, and prices are decent for the amount of food you get. There are plenty of options for vegetarians. The staff are friendly, attentive, helpful, and really nice people. The place is very clean with a nice atmosphere. It reminds one of the taquerias in Texas. If you get an opportunity, stop in and grab a bite—it’s well worth it.
