Pearmund Cellars had the best wines of all the wines we tried while visiting Virginia vineyards. They did not taste ‘young’ like the other vineyards. If you like California wines, you should enjoy Pearmund wines. The staff was friendly and knowledable. The patio and vineyard is nice and inviting!
Wow !! A beautiful setting ! A great Friday afternoon!!
Very nice winery! Great people too. I loved the 2020 Cabernet Franc.
This winery menu changes like most seasonally or when they run out. However, expect more or less 10 wines equal reds or whites and dessert. On this recent occasion they offered a special "Black Ops" wine which is an unknown blend to all the employees. Expect to pay $10 per person or you can share a tasting with one other for the same $10.
Parking is very good I have almost never had an issue parking (all gravel). I also drive an all electric vehicle which they conveniently provide a Tesla 40amp charger (see destination charging on your car map) or a standard charger for everyone else which uses EVgo (this is new since last year).
Frequently they have a pizza shop tow an oven to the lot to sell to customers. Outside you will find a very nice patio which ample seating. There is also seating farther out towards the barn and creek. They also provide cornhole.
Wines themselves I found are all quite good and highly rated. The tasting room has enough space for about 30 at one time as well as extra seating in their barrel storage room. The storage room is kept very cool and a great place to sit in the summer.
Overall I frequently stop here as a last stop for the day to both charge my car and grab some delicious wines.
Lastly if you are a Va Go pass member (2016) you can get your tasting complimentary if you buy a bottle. Though no bottle as of this review was under $25.
Not a family friendly winery, wish I could give zero stars.
We’re new to the area and immediately fell in love with Pearmund Cellars! We used to visit occasionally several years ago and it has retained the same charm. It also helps that they make great wine! We are now wine club members and love sharing some wine on the patio. We had an extra great visit today with Heather and Jojo! Thanks for a great experience!
Beautiful well kept winery over an hour from DC. It was a great day trip out, sooo picturesque! My husband and I did a tasting and were quickly impressed with their wines. It's a good sign when you're following the tasting list and telling yourself which wines you will purchase only to realize it's their tasting list.
We knew we had to join their wine club... Which in itself is a good deal/program. It's $75 quarterly, so we can't wait to come out and pick up our wines rather than having it shipped.
We haven't tried their farm store or little apps yet but look forward to utilizing our new favorite place when we want to get away for the day.
Beautiful winery with great wine selection and excellent staff. Awesome place to spend a nice day!
I have been here a couple of times and went to a wedding here. This is a wonderful venue and the food and wine is amazing. Most people think of California as wine Country, but Northern Virginia has some hidden gems if you enjoy local wines.
We brought a large group to Pearmund and everything was wonderful. The staff was knowledge and so welcoming. The wine was fantastic, and it's a beautiful location. We hope to be back soon!

We have been members for years and we love our pickup days, pairings with wine and food. love them! Great scenery, wonderful day!
Always enjoy our time at Pearmund. The “hosts” are always helpful and smiling. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.
Wine Wine and More Wine. Love my life...
Incredible wines, excellent staff and beautiful property!
Pearmund continues to be a consistently good experience - quality customer service, knowledgeable and interesting in sharing their wines. It comes at the typical Virginia premium (whites in the ~$20 range, reds up to $40).Adults-only in the tasting room, but kids allowed at the farm store (which sells wine by the bottle, but not tastings).Rentable rooms where the cost goes straight back to buying things.
