Walking in 20 minutes before lunch hour closing. They tell me “2:30 we close can you eat fast?”. Not coming here again. Customer service is as important as food quality.

Awesome food, excellent presentation, and fast service. Some of the best food we’ve had at a sushi restaurant. Had easy listening music laying rather than traditional oriental stuff played in most Japanese restaurants. I had touch down roll and salmon nigiri, son had angry Yellowtail and cherry blossom rolls and wife had chicken bento box. Was more like $40 per person vs 10-20 state on google.

INCREDIBLE! They took us to food heaven. Couldn’t get enough of their Jazz Sushi roll. The value for the price will blow you away. It’s as Japanese as it gets. Go now!

Also, Sue is the sweetest waitress and the chef offered us a special treat on the house.

My family has been coming to Samurai Sushi for about a decade now. It has always been our favorite place with fresh, delicious sushi. We picked up our order this past Sunday and were extremely disappointed, as almost none of our usual rolls were the same. The tuna and crab recipes have clearly changed (and not for the better), and the eel sauce was overused in rolls that do not usually have it. The usual sushi chef was not there, so I'm curious if they have undergone new management. Whatever the reason, we are definitely hesitant to return. The sushi is not the same quality as it used to be.

I was incorrect when I thought this restaurant was closed; that was a different sushi restaurant. This restaurant was open and very accommodating. My granddaughters wanted California rolls, and they were prepared to order. I got smoked salmon and I have to admit that I struggled with the chop sticks. I should have gotten the trainers! The food was great, and the chef even gave us 3 crab pieces free of charge. The server was very kind to the grandchildren and gave them 2 stickers each. Delightful place!

I’ve been coming here for 20 years, since I was a child with my family. And now with my own children. I picked up an order 2 weeks ago and decided to try again today. This is NOT the samurai I know and love. The friendly chefs I’ve been seeing all these years were not there greeting me- they know who I am very well. Know my order by heart. The quality, recipes, portion sizes and presentations have all changed dramatically. Clearly cutting corners to save money- it has gone from the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life to moderate quality. My favorite roll is completely different. Sushi is a huge part of my life. Samurai sushi is now losing the business of my parents, sibling, myself, my children, and all of our family in the area. It breaks my heart to say I will not return to this place that holds so many memories for me. Not until they go back to the quality sushi they used to have. I hope new management reads this- you have lost one of your most loyal veteran customers. I will no longer recommend this place to anyone.

Everything we ordered is very good here .. their prices are very reasonable. And their specialty crispy rice ball with spicy tunaa on top is mind blowing good..

I was surprised that it was so empty when my husband and I stumbled across this restaurant driving from Leesburg to DC. Food was delicious and the waitress was so very sweet. Left feeling very full, very satisfied, and very pleased with the last minute decision to try this restaurant. Already starred the restaurant to return next time we drive along this route ??
