"Fall-off-the-bone" ribs were as tough as sole leather, waited 25+ minutes to be seated although tables were empty, had only one waitress, failed to bring mac & cheese and house salad and on top of all the food was cold. No offer to refill drinks. Waitress was also trying to run the cash register. This was my last trip to the Drug Store Grill!I do not recommend this honky-tonk.

We’ve waited over an hour for our food. Our waitress has sat down multiple times doing nothing. The last few times we’ve been the quality of your food has significantly declined. We keep giving you all chances and you keep failing. I know there’s not much in Brookneal so people have to just take it, but after this we won’t be giving our business ever again. I talked to several customers who had the same experience in the dining room with us. They were MAD and when I addressed the chef he threw up his hands and said “ I don’t know what to tell you we have a lot of volume”If you cannot handle the volume, don’t keep opening for the volume. I will NEVER recommend you all to anyone ever again. In fact I will scream it from the roof tops that no one should go there EVER again.

For the area this is in the food was pretty good; the atmosphere was nice and the service was spot on. We had great company for dinner with his evening so that made the night perfect. The waitress was very attentive and very good at what she does.For dinner we had the ribs, Asian dish, beer, wine, cocktail, salad, and the combo appetizer. Yummy!!!We would definitely recommend and will be back when in the area again.Thank you for the hospitality.

Beautiful place, great people…. But it is hit or miss. It has been a long time since they have got our order correct. Disappointed ☹️ this time no bacon … paid extra… and fries were not cooked all the way.

What a lovely gem! The food was perfectly prepared, the waitress was so kind and helpful, and the sweet tea was made right. There's so much more on the menu that we want to try that we will have to go back.Get the loaded onion rings. Just...try them.
6:30 reservations w no food until 8. Was not busy & we saw people served that were in later than us. Food & service were poor. steak was not great. ribs -not fall off the bone. Had to ask for silverware & napkins. Salad was not served until after meal was brought out (finally). Used to be great but will not return. So sad.

Eaten there several times now with similar results.Food is very good but service is inconsistent ranging from slow and incompetent to fast and efficient. One dinner they only brought my entre and completely forgot my wife's.And the staff's young kids wandering around back and forth through the kitchen and seating areas is probably some safety and/or health code violation, but it doesn't enhance the dining experience.I'll go back, the food is worth pushing past the service.

They don't deserve one star!!! I came here for the first time and this is my last time. We gave the waitress our order.....30 minutes later....she said they lost the ticket and they were gonna get started on our food. Another 30 min goes by....and my food comes out.....cheese fries burnt to a crisp, looking like they were old!!! We walked out!!! Never again!!!
