We love going to El Cazador in Brookneal! It's so nice to have a Mexican restaurant close to home. The margaritas are delicious and I highly recommend getting a margarita flight so you can sample more than 1 flavor! I have loved everything I have tried there! The service is pretty good. I've had take out many times. Today, for the first time, my mother took me out to have dinner inside the restaurant. The food was okay, but my mother's food (quickest to make) took an unusually long time to receive. The server came to ask us how our food was, and she hadn't even received her plate, yet. When it finally came out, it wasn't even warm. She also ordered a to-go plate for my sister, and she drove the 20 mins home, only to find out that the food was completely incorrect....read full review
My aunt and I came here Saturday (9/16) for lunch. It was my first time coming since it had opened. Normally, we go to the Altavista location but we were visiting relatives.We both agreed...this location makes the Altavista one look shameful!The decor is so beautiful and the place is so clean and fresh (something Golden Skillet never felt), the food was absolutely amazing (definitely recommend the Hawaiian Arroz Con Pollo).
