I thought it was going to be a longer bridge. It was still beautiful looking over the James River. I always love a good swinging bridge. We stopped here after visiting Natural Bridge. It was only 15 min away and worth the stop

Can't miss this place if you're traveling down the Blue Ridge Parkway. Its one of the coolest things we've seen in a while. It seems like every step you are going to break thru the floor planks and has some amazing views.

Super pretty view of the mountains and the James. Bridge doesn’t lead to any trails or nature spaces. Bridge is very true to its name- it be swanging so be careful!

Definitely a swinging bridge lol. It's pretty long and bouncy. There's all kinds of wild life around you just have to look. The kids loved it.
Never been on a bridge that ties into a swinging bridge. Pretty cool and old. It swings and creaks a lot.
