Top 3 best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! Dynamite breakfast sandwich. Super friendly staff and a nice small-town atmosphere. I really enjoyed my breakfast here and highly recommend checking it out!

We visited on a Friday afternoon while visiting Buchanan. The employees were super friendly and helpful! The food was delicious and fairly priced. It was so good that we came back this morning for breakfast! I highly recommend eating here. Oh, and they have scoopable Hershey's ice cream.

While it is highly unlikely that I'll find myself in Buchanan again rest assured I will not be patronizing James River Drip. Food was ok, service pretty good but be aware that the menu prices will not be reflected at check out. What a rip off. I don't recall having left a restaurant with that immediate impression in many, many years. Too bad.

We went here on Labor Day and the place was very busy but the staff managed to work quickly and keep everything tasting good. This place is definitely more than coffee. I would almost call it a diner and not a coffee shop but that's not a bad thing. Lots of food options plus still really good coffee. They also carry H&C coffee and Homestead Creamery stuff in store. Stop here for food and coffee then take it across the street to the swinging bridge for a view!

I haven't had biscuits and gravy this good in a long time. It seems like a coffee shop, but it is very good Southern food done right with service that reminds you of how things used to be.
