North Star is one of the best places to eat outside of Roanoke. Not just the food is amazing and affordable. The taste brings you back to good old days of grandma‘s cooking. The restaurant has a small home town feeling where everybody knows each other.
The best food, and you couldn't ask for friendlier or more efficient service. A word to the wise, their portions are great, so unless you want a two meal burger, order the single. Cole slaw is homemade and not out of a store container. My crab cakes meal was only $11.00 but tasted like a hundred! Just a lovely, friendly place.
List of a restaurant is a great Mama pop's place. The setting was very quaint and very nice. The waitress was extremely nice. Very prompt with bringing food and drinks. Very courteous. Her customer service was very good. We didn't have to wait at all for a table so that was good. And it didn't take all that long to bring the food as well. The food ended up being very good.
