The cheese was extremely runny. It never even started to set up even after waiting. Tasted more like milk. We ask to have it fixed and we were told it came that way. We then ask to have it removed from the bill and they did.
My wife and I met in Houston which is filled with wonderful authentic Mexican food. When we moved to Buena Vista after 25 years in the Northeast we were THRILLED to find Don Tequilas. It is some of the best Mexican food we have had. The service is wonderful and fast and the prices are affordable. Thank you Don Tequilas!
Don Tequila is great! My family and I eat here fairly often and have never had bad food or drinks. I recommend arroz con carne, though I often get it with chicken in addition to the beef. I also recommend the Ramon Special, but only if you have room for it.\n\nThe waitstaff are all very polite and friendly.
