My wife and I had a great experience at El Gran Patron in Bumpass, VA. The views were amazing, the food was delicious, and the service was very fast and attentive. The staff checked in on us several times to make sure we were doing okay, which made the whole meal feel welcoming and well cared for. Great atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and would be happy to come back again!
First off, let me say I typically come here once a month and its normally really great but the last two times I have been service has shoddy, not enough wait staff to handle the crowd, and there were around 10 tables and booths open inside and about half capacity on the outside deck. Middle isle had multiple tables with spilled drinks running on the floor. Crumbs for chips, no salsa. Running out of beer on tap. Was served food with no silverware.
What a great surprise at lake Anna. Friendly staff and great fresh food. I happened upon this on cinco de mayo. Staff was all giddy :). I was the first guests on opening. Got exactly what I needed. Beef burrito with rice and beans. Highly recommend. Great pricing. Martin the server was great.
