We spent all day on the lake and after putting the boat on the trailer, stopped in for dinner. The food was great. The prices felt like I stepped back in time 10 years. The views of lake were the icing on the cake.
Had an amazing time with our party of 10 sitting outside on a beautiful summer evening. Daniel, our host, was exceptional. Attentive, witty, and super helpful with recommendations. He was part of what made the experience so memorable. We loved the food and drinks too.
I frequent this establishment at least twice a month. They are very consistent and the service is great. I have enjoyed practically everything I have ordered, though I am not particularly impressed with their rice and beans. Coming from Texas, I am accustomed to a bit more flavor, vegetables in the rice, and the taste of meat/lard in the beans. I have brought visitors here (also from Texas) who turned their nose up as the beans stating that they taste watery. I couldn't disagree.
