Very new and fresh and clean interior with very beautiful decor.
The food is good and well priced.
I had a green curry and it had a good amount of chicken and was tasty.
The crab fried rice had a great flame grilled taste and left a great fun sensation in the mouth. It was also surprisingly affordable at 22$
Staff is nice too!
This is really great place to go, will definitely come back.
Gluten is not labeled on the menu but the staff is knowledgeable and accommodating.
The menu does say it accommodates vegetarians as fish sauce can be taken out of any dish.

Best Thai in the Burke/Springfield area! I don’t think we’ve had a bad dish. We love how you can vary the spice level. Their drunken noodle is perfect and if you can get a mango sticky rice for dessert, it’s always done just right.
Friendly, delicious Thai spot. I wish the portions were bigger. Next time, I might order an extra dish because the food was great.

Hands down best Thai in the area! Some of the more obscure dishes may not be as complementary to Americanized palates but all major dishes are great. Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, and the Beef Drunken Noodles are incredible. I’ve tried every Thai place in a 10 mile radius and this is by far the best!! Very cute setup and sweet staff aswell :))
Food is fine, but if you don't order enough the one tall waitress with glasses gets passive aggressive and will deprioritise anything you ask for, including straws. Asked for a serving spoon for pad Thai, and she acted like she was put up on and got huffy about it. I wish I could give a lower star rating for service to be honest.... Also side by observation.... Same price for food but like half the portion a month ago.

Hands down the best Thai Food that I have ever had, and I consider myself a Panang Curry fanatic, and Am Thai has the BEST one period.
Perfect balance of spice and the kefir limes add the perfect balance! It is spicy as it should be, but they can adjust the spice for you.
They even accommodated my special request of Cripsy Duck with Panang Curry! So nice of them! The duck was delicious!!!

For desert we had the Mango Sitcky Rice and Fried Banana—both delectable!

Northern Virginia is blessed with quite a few Thai restaurants but I truly believe AmThai stands above the crowd. Every dish I've tried has phenomenal depth of flavor, and the heat and spices are not held back for American audiences. I've never been to Thailand but this restaurant feels like such a passionate and genuine celebration of Thai cuisine.
