Would have been a two for food, but the owner was so nice. The sushi is below average, using overcooked mushy rice that was made for Chinese fried rice. They do have thicker cuts of sushi, so I assume sashimi wouldn’t be too bad. You can taste the batter on the fried items, thick and gooey, creating an unpleasant sensation (compared to crispy). The female owner was very pleasant though. Really should consider upgrading the rice and batter quality.

If you’re getting sashimi, this place is definitely bang for your buck. The cuts are on the thicker side and the portions are generous. The only downside is the rice they use long-grain rice, which isn’t ideal for sushi and gives it a mushy, dense texture. The tempura batter was also too thick, making the soft-shell crab tempura a bit greasy. Still, the owner is super nice and attentive! This place definitely has its pros and cons.

So incredibly disappointed, I feel like we wasted too much money on bad food. More expensive than some other local places, but we figured we’d give them a try because our two favorite spots are closed on Sundays. We should have just waited for tomorrow. Told us 20 minutes on the phone but took closer to 35, and yet somehow the food was still cold when we got it. Crab Rangoon was okay, not worth the price. The shrimp tempura rolls and the California rolls were loaded with rice and that was honestly all you could taste, and the rice wasn’t even that good. We ended up throwing out a good portion rather than finishing, which is something I never do. Won’t be going back, don’t understand where these 5 star reviews are coming from.

Always warmly received by the owners who are present and maintain the highest quality cuisine. Portions are generous and all is delicious. The Rainbow Roll is outstanding and ask for the Spicy Scallop Hand Roll (you won't find on the menu).

we were in the area and needed to eat. I was hoping to find a good Sushi restaurant and II was not disappointed. I was able to get some classic sushi rolls and my guest was also able to get cooked salmon.

All the food was fantastic.

The people working there were excellent! Wonderful crew and they enjoyed making the best food for us.

I got used to eating fresh sushi in Japan and was looking for a sushi restaurant in Virginia. This was exactly what I was looking for. Fresh, clean, and generous. They have a wide variety of other food for those who do not eat sashimi or seafood as well. Not the largest restaurant, though it is worth waiting if it is packed (it wasn't packed for us). The owners are extremely kind and welcoming, creating an environment that felt like home. 10/10 would recommend and will come back again.

We absolutely love coming here as a family! Not only is the service top-notch, but the food is also incredibly delicious. The sushi is always fresh, the fried rice is amazing, and the prices are unbeatable. It’s one of our favorite spots — highly recommended!

walked into an empty store and were rushed to order. my friend and i ordered three rolls TOTAL & the person who served the food to us said “wow a lot of food” and when he came back to check on us we had finished two of the three and he said “oh my so hungry” essentially saying we ordered too much food for two ppl. one of the servers, an older woman was also eating while we were, which isnt a problem but the second she finished her food she rushed us to pay and leave.
the sushi itself also was very subpar as well.

I have not had this awful of an experience in quite sometime. The service was slow and horrible. It took our baby making noise for someone to come take our order. The food took so long to come out. I got beef goyza and chicken fried rice. It was just okay. Nothing special. And my husband got sushi that was just okay. The sushi chef walked around asking everyone why they weren’t finishing their food. It made lots of customers uncomfortable. It was just a horrible experience and we will not be coming back.

Walked in and the place smelled “wrong”. After looking closely the place needs a deep cleaning very dirty. The sushi coolers are never closed so the sushi comes out room temp. Yuck! No Pinot Grigio for the wife No effort in plating to make the dishes look nice. Plenty of places in Springfield to go to. Not sure how this place gets 5 star reviews makes me wonder? Chef Ramsey would destroy this place for the lack of cleanliness!! and plating. On a positive note the sake was very good
