Genuinely the best cafe I've ever been to in Virginia, and it's part of an H-Mart. A wonderful hidden gem. I wish they had a social media so I could look at all their pastries and remember, because I don't live here anymore.

I am someone who always stops by a Korean bakery in Annandale or Centerville every week to buy bread. Lami is the best, both in terms of taste and price. However, what is disappointing is that the bread variety is monotonous. Some reviews say they are only friendly to Koreans, but from my experience as a regular customer, it's because their English isn't perfect and they don't know what to do. Don't misunderstand.

I ordered a creme brulee cake and chocolate cake and they both tasted amazing. The creme bruleee dessert came in a glass cup, which I could reuse.

This bakery is situated inside Hmart Burke, providing a convenient way to purchase baked goods while grocery shopping. I have tried their cakes and Korean buns and found that while the quality is decent, the prices are pretty high.

The cakes are great but in the past year or so the prices went up from $25 to $42. I was there two weeks ago and I asked to woman who seemed to be the manager of the place if they raised the price. She said yes. I said but this is too expensive and you might loose customers. She said oh well. That’s ok. Funny thing is that while I was there three sets of people came, saw the price and left. Sadly we will not be buying from them anymore since the price simply doesn’t make sense.
