Issue with management.
I want to start this off by saying that I love Great Harvest as a whole. I’ve been to several locations in several states, and it’s always top tier. I even have some favorite employees from different locations that I love to visit. However, after giving this location chance after chance, I had to say something. This location has some of the rudest staff. I work customer service and am always one to give the benefit of the doubt: maybe this person just got yelled at, maybe this person is having the worst day of their career… maybe they’re just tired. But, after dealing with the staff being rude to my face time after time, there is something wrong with the culture of this store. I walk in friendly, patient and with a smile on my face and am met with rude, dismissive, blunt and miserable staff everytime. The man behind the register basically threw my box at me, sighed when I ordered a sandwich and is basically counting down the minutes until close with me standing right there. Again, I hate to do this but I just had to let you all know that you are not, in any way, holding up to the same standard of this great companies other locations. Makes you wonder if there’s some sort of issue with management to make the staff so miserable.

Hot panini sandwich was so good, had coffee as well. They offered free samples of three types of bread. Then got the pumpkin 🎃 chocolate 🍫 chip bread 🍞 which was my favorite ❤️

We have been customers at the Burke location since the store opened and have always loved their breads. Lately, however, the loaves are smaller and denser. Especially the honey whole wheat loaves. It’s as if the dough is not being left to rise enough before baking. For the price of the loaves, we expect a better product. We might need to find a new bakery.

I don’t usually leave reviews but Just moved into the area and have been here three times already. The food is solid, the sweets are good , the sandwiches are ok. The young men behind the counter are nice but there was some nasty lady (she was wearing a Red sox baseball cap) that acted like i didn’t even exist. Walked right by to place items on counter and didn’t say excuse me, i smiled at her when she turns around and she again ignored me . Fine, not the friendly type ? it’s ok. But then when i needed to be checked out , i asked her a question and she talked over me to an employee like i wasn’t even there. Hope she isn’t racist cuz i’m not white . I might be coming back but if i see her , im turning around and exiting .

I've only tried a few items here so can't comment on others but I really like the southwestern chipotle turkey sandwich and the staff have always been super nice and friendly!

I found a long black hair in my Popeye bread I purchased close to 2 weeks ago, very very disappointing to say the least. I threw the rest of bread away but kept the piece with the hair to show the owners if they would like to see it. I have to say I am not surprised as I noticed other unsanitary operations performed at this Burke bakery. This latest infraction just confirms that this bread company does not value cleanliness and sanitary working conditions and I will no longer use this location.

The is place should look for new employees. They are rude and not welcoming. It use to be our place to come get some good bread. They don’t offer a free sample anymore which okay, fine. Today, the man was so rude about asking for a particular bread and then to slice the loaf of bread. He acted like it was the most inconvenient thing. We won’t be coming back to this location anymore. It wasn’t the first time these workers were fussy but will be the last time for us. Rude people who treat customers badly. Don’t recommend.

I have spent on average $100 between two separate visits and all the items that were purchased were ABSOLUTELY bland. Their bakes are not worth the value; very much overpriced! About $17 for a loaf and $13 for squares of bread pudding or four scones. EVERYTHING IS JUST BLAND AND SO OVERPRICED!!!! I have never been so upset over something as menial as bread, but their business model/price points need serious reconsideration.
