This place is the ultimate sleeper. Came in sweatin a little bit because of the lack of asian representation in the building. Came out egregiously full and happy as can be. The man that runs this establishment was beyond kind and his granddaughter who served us was respectfully and also kind. On top of the excellent service, the food is what truly hit the spot. The pho was some of the best I have ever had. The broth was flavorful to the point no condiments or extras were required. You can shower in that stuff. The chef was generous with the meat and he filled our bowls to the brim. Pupusas also went stupid. Crazy concept to have Salvadorian and Vietnamese fusion but it works. At the end of the day, I satisfied two deep cravings of a gnarly pupusa and some refreshing pho. Absolute sleeper. Had to get rolled out the restaurant because I gained a solid 30lbs from our exceptional meal.

Stopped by H Pho after reading the great reviews and the added feature of serving papusas and empanadas. The staff seem to be all family, and they're super friendly. The papusas and empanadas were amazing. We actually came for the Pho which was good also. We enjoyed the experience.

this place is delicious! i highly recommend checking this spot out it never disappoints. i usually order take out but have sat down to eat a few times. out of this entire area this is definitely my go to for pho. the flavor is phenomenal and everything is always fresh. the pupusas are some of the most incredible ones i've had! the boba is also very yummy and you can't beat the price for everything! i usually get the pho ga but i have tried the beef combo pho and both are very yummy. the pho ga is my go to as it has a sweeter flavor profile which i enjoy. i also wanted to mention that there customer service is phenomenal as well. i had added a note to my order to include an extra spicy chili oil. they called me before completing my order to confirm exactly which chili oil i was requesting. i thought it very considerate for them to do that as not all places will. :)

Came here for pho but was pleasantly surprised with the empanadas! They were so good ? the pho was average. Nothing really special, thought it was good but wasn’t the best I ever had. The green apple boba was good.I would like to come back and try something else. The ambience is nice, lots of seating on a Sunday evening.

I'm giving 5 stars as a courtesy to the owner. Her food is incredible and she's always kind and warm. We enjoy the pho and pupusas immensely. I can't say enough good things about the owner or the food. However, the main server, a young lady with glasses we've encountered several times, is INCREDIBLY rude. The other night she literally took menus out of my wife and daughter's hands and handed them to another table. We had not yet ordered. She also acts very inconvenienced when we order boba teas. It's weird. Just a basic lack of manners. She ruins the experience for us and if we see her serving, we will walk out on our next visit. She makes this a one star experience.

This is a remarkably good restaurant. Not only is the food excellent, but the seating area has a great modern decor which makes dining an even more pleasant experience.

Tonight I dined in and enjoyed a delicious, hot, bowl of Pho Tai Gan at the restaurant H Pho, located on Old Keene Mill in Burke. Twice before we have ordered delivery of different soups and Goo Cuon, Shrimp Summer Rolls and loved the food. The rolls are always prepared with fresh, crunchy ingredients that are precise to the recipe. This is such a refreshing appetizer.I believe that H Pho has the best Pho broth. The beef broth is an obvious result of great care and long preparation. The rich taste reflects the high quality of beef and herbs used to create it. The bountiful bowl is packed with eye round steak and soft tendon. For take-home to the family, I am bringing hot off the griddle, Pork and Cheese Pupusas and an incredibly gorgeous dessert, fried and sugary, Empanadas de Plantano. Other tables were full of these El Salvadoran dishes so, I knew we needed to try them.H Pho’s atmosphere is a relaxed, family environment. I love that it is softly lit, quiet and invites warm conversation. In fact, my host and servers were the owners of the restaurant. In this day and age, how extraordinary it is to be greeted and personally attended to by the same persons who lovingly created the menu and cooked the meal. H Pho deserves special recognition as a Burke hometown gem!

Stopped into H Pho today for lunch on a cold, rainy day for some Pho. It was past the lunch rush - so there was only one other table occupied. I was approached quickly with a menu. While looking the menu over - they brought me a glass of water, condiments (Hoisin and Sriracha), and a plate of aromatics. I ordered the No. 10 (Pho Ga) - large, with white meat. The Pho came out in slightly less than 10 minutes. I tasted the broth first. The broth was steaming and very tasty. I added the aromatics (bean sprouts, lime juice, jalapeños, and basil) - all of which were nice and fresh. Overall - a good bowl of Pho Ga. There are two things I will ding them on - there was more noodles in the bowl than what most Pho places put in their Pho - would have been nice to have a bit more broth; and the slices of chicken - most were to thick - and about half the pieces were tender - and the other half were very chewy. Service was good. H Pho does not currently accept Apple Pay. #HPho

Excellent pho, and the staff are wonderful! I just called in some pho because I’m home sick with the worst flu of my life. The cashier sent extra broth home for me. Such compassion! I’m in tears.

Spanish owed Pho, I like the broth for me that's all that matters. They also have Central American food I saw on the menu but didn't try anything. Very friendly and clean.
