How this place is in business escapes me. We were there on a Thursday 2 weeks ago. Schnitzel only 1 left, my friend and I fought for it and I let her have it. She said it it wasn't very good. I really just wanted the potatoes anyways. The German potatoes were sub par, couldn't spruce it up with vinegar or anything. One person had the pasta w chicken and she didn't finish it. I can't remember what our 4th person had. The booths were small for adults only 1 large round it was taken. People in the lounge area seemed happy watching the game and perhaps we should have eaten in there. The server was nice but she was slow and couldn't read the table. The drinks from the bar were forgettable. So yes, I don't quite get how the place is in business.

A local pub through and through. Came in a few times and the food and drinks have been great! I’d recommend coming on Friday and Saturday nights when they have a live band going for a great time in a local spot. I got the burger and my wife got the grilled grouper and both were great! I substituted the mashed potatoes for fries on my plate.

My husband and I are regular customers at Hopsfrog. We've been going there for a few years and are often there 2-3 times a week. We always have a great meal (and I'm a fussy eater!)! I don't eat meat or poultry and there are many options for me. I often have their delicious shrimp quesadillas with guacamole, vegetarian bean chili with housemade chips or shrimp fajitas. I love their eggplant parmigiana with linguini and their fish and chips specials. My husband thinks their Angus burgers, pulled pork sandwich and onion rings are great. Their fries are delicious. I don't drink, but I like to sit in the bar area because I like the energy in the room. The tables are all high tops. They also offer a quieter room with tables and booths. Even though the staff are very busy, they are attentive and friendly. They remember us, know our names, the beverages we like to drink and how we like our usual dishes prepared. It is a place where we feel comfortable and know that we will have a delicious meal! I highly recommend Hopsfrog!

This place is not worth your time and/or money. The burgers are subpar, and the service is horrible. Our waiter wasn't that friendly. We waited for our food for quite a while, and when we got our food, the burgers were overcooked and dry. We all had asked for medium rare cook, and they were all well done and dry. “The BEST Angus Beef Burgers and Sliders in Fairfax” is a very bold claim that they did not hold up to. Angus Chuck Burger is a lean beef with not as much fat and will overcook very easily, and that is what happened.

WBB FINAL FOUR ON zero TVs. When I asked the waitress if she could switch one. She said: “they are watching it” In the next 5 seconds, I observed NO ONE watching the hockey game which was on 3 other TVs. The owner should know that their bias wait staff is not sensitive to customer needs. This is the WBB Final Four with 45 million viewers. Not on HopsFrog!! Very sad!
