Stopped in for a late lunch after traveling for hours. The service is great but the food is not great. I ordered the seafood combination platter; the crab cake tasted like canned crab, the fries and shrimp had a strange after taste (shrimp tasted fishy), and the fish lacked seasoning. The place needs a bit of a facelift also. I would not return but like I said, they are very nice and the service is good.
You can never go wrong with anything you choose at Spartans! I love the gyro, Greek salad, homemade bread, pizza, and rice pudding. Oh, did I mention the Spartan burger- a perfectly seasoned and cooked burger patty with a SLAB of feta. Definitely a family favorite!!
My family has been coming here for decades. Unfortunately, this time around the service and food was subpar. I ordered a gyro (you'd think a Greek restaurant would nail it), however the meat was really poor quality and dried out. I'm not kidding when I say that gyros are so much better at Arby's. I took only a few bites and threw away the rest. The service was very slow too. I will not be coming back anytime soon.
