First time checking out Copper Pot ordered three veg plate off senior 55 and over menu but was overcharged, wife ordered bacon cheeseburger with fries she got double with no cheese with meat over cooked very dry the fries was loaded with cheese and soggy. First and last visit if you can't make a good cheeseburger need to rethink what's going on in your kitchen.

Seat yourself seating. Sat down at a table in the main aisle for 15 minutes. No one ever spoke to us or brought menus. The table beside us had menus and placed their order. The waitress walked off with their menus even though we didn’t have any and had been sitting 10 minutes.

Catfish (loved the tartar sauce), hush puppies, and sweet potato casserole. 2 pancakes, bacon, and 2 eggs. All delicious and if your looking for a strong brew, they're serving that up too.

We were here last week and the general manager was our waiter and he was awesome checked on us constantly made sure we had refills and the food was amazing my husband got the chicken fried steak and after the first bite said that he was getting it at every visit. I got the deep south chicken and I would definitely eat again. My child got the ham and loved it so we decided to go back about 5:15 today 10/02/2025. I must say we had the worst waitress in the place. She spoke with an accent but that doesn't matter only putting that in here in case management wants to know. She didn't check on us. Never got a refill and it was needed way before we were done eating. Still she never checked so I flagged down another waitress just to get a to go box. Still never checked on. Then she walks by our table and gets the broom to go sweep the other room and totally ignored us. When we went to pay she ran up there to check us out. She asked how it was and I told her we needed refills 10 minutes ago and I had to ask someone else for my box and she stood there smiling so I looked at her and told her theres your tip. Funny how the smile left her face then

This has been our favorite restaurant in this area for a while. Had not been there for a while until yesterday. Was Really disappointed ! The Food quality and portions have went downhill ! Did Management change ? All different waitress since last time and The Service was really Slow and Sucked !! I don't know what happened but we won't be going back again !!!

The food is excellent, and the best part is the great staff! They are very nice and a joy to talk to. Also, the coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had, and you can buy ground coffee beans to take home. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The meatloaf was excellent. Collards and mashed potatoes with gravy tasted like Mom was cooking. Great service. Their 1 pound ground steak is as big as the plate it was on. We are from Raleigh and stopped on the way home. We've eaten here before, but they must have new ownership. Everything is nice and clean, good foid and good service. Very friendly.
