The food is excellent, and the best part is the great staff! They are very nice and a joy to talk to. Also, the coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had, and you can buy ground coffee beans to take home. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The meatloaf was excellent. Collards and mashed potatoes with gravy tasted like Mom was cooking. Great service. Their 1 pound ground steak is as big as the plate it was on. We are from Raleigh and stopped on the way home. We've eaten here before, but they must have new ownership. Everything is nice and clean, good foid and good service. Very friendly.
After waiting 15 minutes at the register with nobody even looking that way, I finally decided to make this post. The food is great, but they seem to stay so short handed that customers can get very frustrated, especially when the restaurant is not even 1/4 busy. When a wait staff member did show up, they were friendly and apologetic. Overall, it's an ok place for a good meal. Just be weary that you may be stuck waiting a while even when the restaurant is less than half full.f
