Heard the oatmeal cream pies were excellent, but sadly they were out! So instead got the strawberry frosted cake and a slice of Atlantic Beach Pie... I have never had a strawberry frosted cake so good and strawberry-y! And the pie was amazing! Will have to try the other options next time. Excellent local, family-run bakery.

Well it happened, I finally had the opportunity to get my hands on some baked goods from Cake Charles! I'm so glad I did. We ordered via their website ahead of time on Tuesday for a Thursday evening pick up. I love that I had bay option. I ordered just about everything... we'll sort off. I ordered all three cupcakes and two slices of their pie. My favorite cupcake was the gluten free chocolate one with strawberry icing. It was fantastic! Nice and moist! I know that can be hard to do... making a gluten free cake moist. The chocolate flavor was amazing! A nice rich flavor. My favorite pie was the Atlantic Beach. When I arrived for my pick up, they were so kind. It's a family affair. I love that. Their menu changes weekly which is nice. I suggest ordering ahead of time if possible.

Ordered a small custom carrot cake as a surprise for my husband's birthday while we were on vacation. It was delicious, adorably decorated, and the staff were kind and thorough in their communication with me about the order. Cake Charles was a delight to do business with and I look forward to stopping by again!
