We had such a lovely breakfast here! This place came recommended from frequent visitors. Amy was a delightful and attentive server. We noticed a lot of locals coming to eat. Best pancakes ever, and the pastry my partner got from the case was delicious. When we come back for a visit, we will definitely return for another great meal!

Wow!!! What a gem! Some of the best coffee I have ever had in my life. Outstanding breakfast experience. I got a breakfast burrito that was hot and delicious. The salsa on the side was the chef's kiss. I was sad I couldn't eat it all because it was so good! I also got a pancake. It was gigantic and tasted heavenly. (Seriously, what do y'all put in your pancakes?) Hubby's BELT sandwich was good, too. Very good service from the wait staff -- they were knowledgeable, attentive, and didn't talk too much. The building is elegant and spacious. I cannot imagine a better breakfast experience. What a great way to start the day! I will be back for sure.

Recently visited on a Saturday morning 10 minutes after opening. I was immediately greeted with a smile from Amy. From the delicious breakfast burrito to the refreshing mimosa and the absolutely cozy atmosphere it was a 10/10 all around. what really made an impact on our visit was Amy. She was friendly, enthusiastic and so so sweet. Thank you Amy for making our experience such a heartwarming one. You truly have an amazing soul. Hope to visit again soon! <3

I would go back here in a quick second! The food was fabulous and the coffee was just like home. The service was a little slow, but they were crowded, so was not unexpected and certainly worth the wait. I wished they opened earlier than 8:00 for breakfast. That is a bit late to open for a coffee house.

They were quite busy on a Sunday morning but you wouldn't know it by how well we were taken care of. The staff was prompt and kind, the food was great, and the coffee outstanding.

Had the best french toast of my life! Sure, you've had it before, but not like what they're serving up at CCCH! Delicious with a surprise note. Dine alfresco and let the sun be your shared appetizer.

Quaint and very nice staff. A good place to talk or just relax alone.

Pancakes were delicious! My husband had a breakfast burrito that was also very good. The staff were very kind and working hard. Amy was our waitress and Jeffery assisted. They have staff checking the plates before the food goes out to ensure it is correct. It was very good! Breakfast was the best.

Agreed with others on the atmosphere. Coffee is surprisingly good as well, but the food and slow service are not worth it (waited 30+ min for food). Would recommend grabbing some coffee and sitting on the front patio or upstairs.

I wish I could give zero stars. The service is slow. An older lady rang us up at the register and was rushing us and then when my husband asked for Splenda for his iced tea, she told him it was poison but he could have as much as he wanted. I think she may be an
Owner as she is in a picture on a news article. Dark hair and referred to herself as having “old lady brain.” I waited close to 15 minutes for a latte and it was iced instead of hot. A tall older gentleman was complaining to a server about having to cut lemons for a customer that wanted lemon for her water and he was slowing down the entire operation while the baristas were trying to make drinks. I then asked if I could sit at a table downstairs and was told to sit upstairs. Then, I was blocked from going upstairs while the older gentleman told me to wait a few minutes for him to unload a delivery. I waited but was
Unhappy bc I had already waited so long for my drink. Upstairs was stuffy and felt like it had no air conditioner. There were boxes all over and it was not cozy and looked like a storage area almost. Upon leaving, I tried to go downstairs and was stopped again bc more boxes were being unloaded and told to wait about five minutes to leave. My husband was moving to help move the boxes and I stepped down a stair and the man put his hands up to block me. This upset my
Husband and the older gentleman yelled at us and as we rushed by to exit an uncomfortable situation, he continued to yell at us and berate us all the way out the door. Will never return. Just a very weird and off-putting experience. We were treated like trash and want to warn others not to try this place. We had a much better experience later at a neighboring shop. As a couple who come to cape Charles every few weeks, this was a horrible way to be treated and our first time at this place will be our last.
