Order # 94686. Asked and paid for Cinnamon Roll Colossal $5.25, Baklava $4.75, Crumb Cake Raspberry $5.25 and Muffin Apple Crumb $5.25 and saved for the kids when we arrived home. Upon arrival, we found missing the Baklava. So at this point I'm somewhat disappointed. Tried calling the recorded phone number 757-331-2482 to get at least a reimbursement for the Baklava and it's a wrong number. Not I'm very disappointed and what could have been a 5 star is now a 1 star. Hope it was worth it.
After loving every single thing we ordered off the breakfast menu our first visit, we returned 2 days later to enjoy more before we left town! There is plenty of outdoor seating and a small play station to entertain the kiddos. Food, service, and atmosphere were amazing!
We have the privilege of living locally and frequenting Coastal Baking Co. on the regular, but sometimes we are still surprised in the most delightful way! Despite it being a busy, busy Memorial Day weekend, when I stopped by to pick up a pie I’d ordered, Nicholas was behind the counter cheerfully waiting on a line of customers (he’s a national treasure!). My turn and I was rung up and on my way with not just my pie, but my favorite blueberry cream cheese pastries.
Now, can we talk about that pie? Cassie roasted those beautiful local strawberries until they were a luscious, deeply intense, jammy filling of springtime joy. It was heaven on a plate. Berry, berry delicious filling.
If you find yourself in Cape Charles, go over to see Cassie and crew at Coastal Baking Co. from breakfast biscuits to muffins, Indian dishes and massive sandwiches, you can’t go wrong. Grab an outside table or take it to the beach. Heck, take it home and eat it, but don’t miss the opportunity for some great cooking and even greater hospitality!
A very cute shop but no bathrooms. How is one to wash their hands or use the bathroom when they don’t have one. Virginia State law requires any shop that offers food to have one. After drying from Hampton Roads to attend a meeting we did not order because of no bathrooms.
Cute spot when visiting Cape Charles. Good iced coffee!
Delicious food, but a bit pricey. I'd go back, though.
Cute little bakery/deli in Cape Charles. First time there and the sandwiches were incredible - and large! Go there hungry. Can't wait to make an excuse to visit the Eastern shore of VA again just to eat there again.
We had the curry chicken wrap, very delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. Sitting outside at the corner was nice!
Everyone was super friendly. I tried their blueberry croissant bake, and haven’t stopped talking about it since our trip a few weeks ago!
Very mindfully curated outlet with a pleasant vibe. The variety in cuisine is really good and there are also vegetarian options available. Cassie Patel (owner of the place) is an extremely sweet person.
Cape Charles has one of the best sunset views and the Coastal Baking Co. 's food made it even better. A must visit.

A nice, cozy spot near the beach. The owner was warm and welcoming. I had the chocolate lava cake and a latte. The cake was delicious, and the coffee was great. I was pleasantly surprised to find Indian items and snacks on the menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood.

We stopped by to have some breakfast on our way out of town before hitting the road. We ordered two of the Signature Chicken Biscuits and we were terribly disappointed. The fried chicken was one of those frozen chicken patties and the biscuit completely crumbled apart. It was a cute spot but we had the wrong expectation about the biscuits for breakfast.

Absolutely amazing!! My friend told me these were the best sandwiches in Cape Charles- which they so were! But beyond that her wedding cakkeeeee. Cassie was so great to work with. We selected Coastal Baking Co for our wedding cake after doing a tasting box. It was so fun to try all the flavors! Cassie even listened to our ideas and came up with a special flavor combo that fit our vibe perfectly. She was so easy to work with and her cake was delicious. We’re very happy we decided to go with her for our wedding dessert. Highly recommend.

We came here for a variety of eats and drinks. We loved everything. The baked goods were fresh and delicious. The coffees were perfect. The salads and sandwiches were expertly crafted. The service was top notch and this place is adorable.
