Yes yes yes, 1000x yes, this is the place to come for coffee and treats if you’re in Cape Charles! I came 3 days in a row and would’ve come every day if their off season hours had been open! The customer service is fantastic. The lovely gentleman working there remembered me each day and even almost helped me get my double stroller in the door on my first time there. Their iced lattes are delicious, croissants are fresh, biscuit breakfast sandwiches so buttery, crumb cake SO good, but the s’mores cookie is to die for! I went to every coffee shop within walking distance and this is the one to be at. No seating inside, but plenty of tables outside. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! Me and my girlfriends went here every day on our weekend trip. The coffee, quiche, donuts, and danish were amazing (just to name a few). And the service was excellent. The lady ringing us up (who I would assume is the owner) was extremely friendly and personable. I can’t wait to come back here and try the lunch foods!

My husband and I had our wedding this past weekend on Cape Charles and Coastal Baking Co. made a phenomenal cake for us and our guests. My husband and I were seeking a 1920’s theme for our wedding and this cake definitely lived up to our expectations with its presentation and taste. We also purchased cookies and pastries for our guests while getting ready and for the reception. Everyone had nothing but positive things to say. My husband got biscuits and gravy and blueberry muffin and said they both were to die for. Everything there looked so tasty and I wish I could’ve eaten everything but alas I will have to return to try more!
Food is so good! Their sandwich’s are huge! The tomato pesto sandwich was very good as well as the macaroni salad.

Excellent bakery in cape Charles! We can here twice during our visit, and if you want incredible biscuits and breakfast option make sure you get there before 10:25am when they stop serving those items. Staff was very friendly and nice weather allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the ambiance. We will be back!

What a wonderful shop! I've been inside before to buy a quick cookie or take a small snack, but this time we had a lovely lunch here about half an hour before closing. We spoke to the friendly owner I believe behind the counter and she was happy to make recommendations or answer our questions about the sandwiches and lunch entrees they offer. Everything looked good and we were absolutely starving - they have a large range of delicious items to include Shrimp and Grits, soups, sandwiches, and other items. I chose the everything turkey sandwich which was HUGE and loaded with cheese and meat. Very good and very filling. The everything croissant was fresh and tasty. My husband chose the pastrami sandwich which was equally huge and generous portions of meat. Sides were homemade pasta salad and potato salad, both delicious. There is a small shop inside where you can browse wares and some household items and food items are for sale. There are a number of small patio tables and a few larger tables for 3-5 with umbrellas all outside.We got a chocolate chunk cookie and a soda and I had an iced chai tea. SO good. The owner said her husband was from India so the chai was legit and she was right. I have actually had chai in India and this tasted just like it! The cookie was fresh and moist and loaded with chunks of chocolate. Just like my husband loves them. Note: The kitchen closes 10 minutes before 3 - they close at 3. To halt any last-minute orders while they're cleaning up for the day. We will absolutely be back - this is a gem. Great, friendly and welcoming service, wonderful food, and a large lunch/brunch menu.
