Absolutely lovely little bakery. I stopped by for lunch, I got the seaside sandwich(Thinnly slicee turkey, Swiss cheese, arugula, and a chipotle sauce). Really great sandwich but the bread really steals the show. The staff was friendly. Can't wait to come back!

đ° Mason Avenue Bakery â A Must-Visit Breakfast Spot in Cape Charles, VA
During our recent visit to Cape Charles, the Property Tenders and Can Cowboys team stopped into Mason Avenue Bakery, and it quickly became one of our favorite breakfast spots in town.
We enjoyed a fresh chocolate chip cookie, a warm and flavorful pumpkin strudel crumb cake, perfectly brewed coffee, and a hot chocolate that the team worked hard to prepare. Even though the hot chocolate machine was giving the owner and staff some issues that morning, they went above and beyond to try to make it right.
That level of effort and genuine care speaks volumes about their customer service. In the end, we swapped the hot chocolate for another cup of coffee â and couldnât have asked for a more accommodating or friendly experience.
If you go, we highly recommend the Egg Muffin with a whole egg inside. Absolutely delicious â and we regret not snapping a picture of it!

We were so pleased with everything about this bakery! Great communication and excellent packaging of our purchases. The everything croissants I am still dreaming about. The brownies and chocolate chip cookies were huge and delicious. The crud find are for a very sweet tooth so we found them a bit less appetizing. Muffins were also delicious. This place is a must if you go to cape Charles!

Two visits from Va Beach and love this bakery!! Food is incredible, coffee fresh and the friendliest staff ever! If we didnât have water between us, I would be there weekly! Be sure to check hours!!! Not always open.

The food at the Mason Avenue Bakery was delicious. However, I only gave it four stars for service because the service was extremely slow. We waited about 15â20 minutes for a bagel, but I will say that the line was out the door. I also only gave four stars for the atmosphere because you canât sit in there. Itâs just a order and go type of place. There are patio tables you can sit at outside the bakery providing you go there when it is warm. Staff was very polite and apologetic for the slow service. But the food was great.
Omg this place has the most delicious treats. Croissants, shortbread cookies and a few other items were fabulous. The shortbread cookies are addictive. Makes me want to take them with us to DC or move to Cape Charles!
