When traveling, my wife likes to check out local book stores and we happened to be in Virginia Beach visiting our daughter. What a great book store this turned out to be! From the outside, it appeared to be a conversion of a former gas station and once inside, you could appreciate all the work that went in to the conversion. We both remarked about the curated book selection available-there seemed to be something for everyone. All 3 of us walked out with books. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!

A nice cute café to enjoy. The book options aren't too plentiful, the drinks were sub par, and there is no seating indoors. However, the service was quick and friendly, and it's a nice place to spend a couple of minutes at Cape Charles.

I loved this bookstore!!! They had some very interesting and different titles, as well as, the classics ...I think there's a book for everyone in there. We spent almost two hours just enjoying looking around before settling on which books we wanted. It's been too long since I purchased actual physical books (instead of downloading them), or since I've even been in a bookstore....so I really enjoyed this place. I rediscovered how much I miss actual bookstores and actual books!

I vacationed for a week in the awesome little coast town of Cape Charles, and I’m so happy I stumbled upon this book shop! It is one of the best I’ve come across in a long time!I found all sorts of things I couldn’t leave without: special edition hardbacks, stickers, a puzzle, and some books by authors I’d never even heard of. There is an excellent variety here, including greeting cards, gag gifts, shirts, totes, small snacks, etc. (Also a great kids section!) The owners are sisters, and you can tell they love what they do. I would recommend this shop to everyone, but especially to book lovers!

Decided to stop in after a long workout for a coffee and it was great! I’m not into the super sweet coffee and I was glad that it tasted more like coffee with a hint of the syrup i ordered, rather than syrup with a hint of coffee! I also bought a book as well, which I had been wanting for a while and i managed to see it out of the corner of my eye while ordering coffee! great experience and a lot of selection of books AND coffee :)
