Unfortunately we never got to try the food. We sat down at 10:13 am and the server came over and snapped at us “just so you know, we stop serving at 10:30 so orders had to be in already so you can’t order breakfast! You have to order off the lunch menu”. No “hello”, no “how are you doing today?”

The owner and his family knows me and my family. We go a ways back. Good people and this place is semi busy. This spot is right on the corner as you’re entering Cape Charles.
This spot with the food counter reminds of back in the day when the pharmacy use to be at another location and it also had this same set up.
The food is good and service that as well. The pharmacy is accurate, professional, and kind.

Didn't get a chance to eat here. Very cute. Reminder of the soda fountain drug store. First we've seen in a while.Pharmacists were friendly. Picked up some Sudafed.
It's like an old drug store diner...or it is actually an old time drug store fountain since Rayfields Pharmacy has been around a long time. Great basic breakfast and lunch counter type foods....quick service. It has the atmosphere of a drugstore because the Fountain is in the drugstore...enjoyed it!

Rayfields offers old-time counter service. Pancakes are huge and breakfasts are substantial. Note, they don't offer turkey or plant based protein, so be prepared for all-pork, all the time.
