The she crab soup was delicious. Prices were reasonable. The platters were enough for 2-3 meals. Loved it!!!!

We were on our way home from Va.Beach and got hungry. Not to many places we could think of. We tried this place.Smalls. Holy cow it was good. I think it was way better than Taylor's in Salisbury. We are very happy that we stopped. Now we have another place.

Smells amazing! First thing you notice when you walk in is the smokehouse smell. Large building, nicely kept and decorated. Food was amazing and our server was so sweet. We got there 5 minutes after they opened for a late lunch and everyone was so kind. Will definitely be back!

How very disappointing! My husband and I came here for wanting to try this for the first time, traveling a half an hour to get here, we walk in and they say they are closed. The website says they are open till 10 PM but we arrive. They said they close at 2 PM. Very disappointing, we also had six other others come in, they couldâve made a good chunk of change. They need to update their website, or be more accommodating for Sunday hours for lunch and dinner.

Hereâs what $22 will get youđĄ 1slice of white bread, a few pickles and pieces of onion, 5 slices of brisket and 2 of the smallest containers of sides Iâve ever seen in my life. Prescription bottles used to show the size of the containers. All I can say is they have some nerve!!

Never got to the food. A BBQ place out of ribs, and not many on the restaurant. Second, I get it, its the off season. But tasking the person who should be taking orders to work the kitchen and serve left me standing around waiting to make an order.
So I left. Your food is great. Hope this was a one off.

Itâs just so good. The burned ends. The local oysters, the hush puppies. The staff is super friendly. When you walk in the door the wood burning smell will immediately confirm your decision to come here was correct. đ

Their departure out of Norfolk and over to the eastern shore where there is no competition was a smart move. The food quality just did not compete. Mission BBQ beats them in all areas of pulled meats and sausage. I have given them a couple of tries and the food is just not worth the price.
Donât waste your time! Steamed shrimp was good, received our entrees. Brisket platter was basically jerky, and pulled pork sandwich. told the waitress the brisket didnât look good and to give us a minute to try it, she never came back. and then 20 mins go back and we have to leave and i go let her know weâre ready for our check, the brisket was terrible and we didnât want it. gives us the check with it still on the check. anyways she starts freaking out cursing saying she wasnât taking it off. Very unprofessional. Absolutely wonât be returning. Waitress then followed us out to the parking lot. id steer clear if i were you

Absolutely loved this restaurant! Service was great. No wait for a table. Food was delicious and didn't take long to receive after ordering. Loved that they offered daily specials. Overall great experience and definitely recommend. We can't wait to go back next time we're in the area.

Small's is located just 10 miles before the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (CBBT) going towards Virginia Beach. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Food was delicious. Wifey had a pulled chicken sandwich and I the combo platter. My only sore spot would be the young man waiting on us. He started out with a bang and fizzled out at the end. He forgot all about us when I asked for a to go box. When we finally received, only because wifey got up and flagged him down, then it took forever to get the check. Not sure what the young man had going on .
