I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! The shrimp was horrible and way over priced over battered, and fried too hard hell I cut the roof of mouth up eating that💩...how do you buy shrimp from a big box store and turn around and resell it..for 22$ 8 shrimp and fries the shrimp should have been peeled, deveined, butterflied,hand battered and drop in oil. I would not recommend this place. It's sad that the freakin locals thinks this place is good. I saw in another review the best thing they got was the cornbread. Two servers and one cook. not to mention it cost us 32$ round trip to travel on that tunnel/bridge. well you read my review....eat and spend your money at your own risk.

I stop here every time I go up the eastern shore on highway 13.

This was a pretty good lil spot. Traveling south from Jersey to Newport News and decided to take a lil rest for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were super friendly and the locals were too. The food was, okay. Fish was good, but thin. Macaroni and cheese was cheesy but not much flavor. The cabbage was delicious, but also very mushy. The cornbread…oh so good! I’d definitely revisit and try something different though.

Great little roadside type dinner stop. It is an order at the counter kind of sit down place. Food was satisfactory and the service was good. I was hoping for fresher food, pretty sure a chunk of their menu is from frozen but it beat the hour wait for a local restaurant just to be seated. They were also quick to accommodate a request for more of a sauce/seasoning.

Don’t let the gas station fool you. This restaurant has excellent food. You will not leave this place hungry. We had flounder shrimp crab cakes and oysters and all was great. They also served cornbread on the side. I’m not a big fan of cornbread but I could eat theirs everyday it was sweet and delicious.

This is a counter service restaurant inside of a truck stop. The food is good, especially if you want all of the greatness of country food: real sweet tea, deep fried scrapple, cream chipped beef, fried chicken, corn pudding, etc etc etc. You order and pay at the counter and then your food is delivered to you by the attentive wait staff. Go any weekday during breakfast or lunch to mingle with the locals!

Awesome nice little place to stop by for lunch after crossing the Bridge. Food was very good. I had a crab cake sandwich with fries and a cup of coffee. You will definitely see local people eating there. I would go back there and try the other fish sandwiches.

Food is delightful, deserts ? friendly place

We've been dining at StingRays for many years during our travels to Maryland. It's always been SO good, and it still is in most aspects. The staff are friendly and the food is always good. On our recent visit in late August this year we couldn't help but notice the STRONG smell of urine coming from the rest rooms. It permeated throughout the dining room every time someone opened the door leading to the restrooms. It was really bad and I feel like it could be alleviated with a thorough cleaning. If it's like that next time we stop there, it may very well be our last visit. I REALLY hope they take care of that. I don't think it would have ever been like that with the previous owners.

A great local place to eat on the shore. It's located inside a convenience store and has plenty of seating. They have a nice menu with lots of seafood. I had the hamburger steak dinner which was very good. Loved the baked beans too!
