A cozy, contemporary, almost zen coffee joint. It joins an equally admirable hotel. The colors, textures, music, and atmosphere are wonderful. Amazing breakfast burrito. Excellent dirty chai. The hours are limited, however.

Very helpful staff. They went above and beyond for us, having our food prepped early. Very good cortado. Would return

Gave us the food didn't give the beverages. Went up after we finished the food. Didn't even know we didn't get out drinks. Made them after being aware of the missing drinks. Food phenomenal 5 stars.

Got the smoothie bowl and a honey lavander ice coffee. The coffee was awesome! The smoothie bowl was not worth the 12 bucks it was extremely mediocre, easily something I could've made at home. But I really recommend the coffee and all the other food looked awesome but I just wouldn't recommend the smoothie bowl

Was staying here for two weeks next to Cape Charles, this is the only place that serves good coffee, plus pleasant atmosphere inside. Friendly staff, and clean inside. I always go for Flat White, and they never disappoint. Glad I was able to find this spot and do some work!

Was barked at by worker and told they don’t serve anyone but people staying at the hotel. Was no one inside, was early in the am not close to closing time. Great business model!

We went to the Almeta twice for breakfast/coffee during our stay in Cape Charles. Miss Tracy and staff were extremely welcoming and made us and our kids feel right at home. As someone in customer service I appreciated that so much! They were open for breakfast every day and early when a lot of other shops weren’t yet. The portions were great and my toddler loved his French toast. I enjoyed the Rachel and the burrito. Coffee was delicious as well. Definitely come here for a wonderful atmosphere!

Mediocre food and coffee at best. I have severe food allergies and they got my order wrong repeatedly (3 times). They also got my girlfriend’s order wrong too. The only bonus of this place is that they’re the only brunch place open on Wednesday.

Was so lucky to find this place open the days we were staying in Cape Charles. Good tasting breakfast sandwiches and coffee/tea that brought us back each morning. Owner even had a spare gluten free bun in the back by chance for my celiac mom (not usually on the menu I don't think) so he went above and beyond. Will return when we visit this charming village again in the future.

Best coffee I've had in a while. Barista was kind and helpful. Great place to grab breakfast or lunch.

Not a great experience. Sour dough was good. People weren’t particularly welcoming. Food is a bit uptight, esp for breakfast. Ordering just an egg sandwich was a bit of a challenge. Not vegetarian friendly at all, and one employee was snide when I asked about options.

Didn't realize this was the cafe attached to the Hotel Cape Charles, but was eager to try it as one of the limited coffee options during the off-season. Service was slow, but the drink quality was high— the Salted Honey latte (ordered half-sweet) was fantastic! Would return for another!
