We enjoyed our dinners last night. This restaurant is one of the cleanest, most enjoyable restaurants you can visit in the area. It's a little out of the way but so worth the extra five minutes it takes to get there. The food is always delicious. Their salads with their signature pickled onions could be a meal all their own. You get a huge serving of mixed crunchy greens, sweet cherry tomatoes, pickled onions, shredded cheese, and grilled chicken of shrimp if you choose....
The service was great and I loved the feel of a country diner. We've driven by here a gazillion times but it was always closed. Now that we've gotten in, we'll be back!
Me and my family stopped here on the way home from a day visiting farm stands in the NNK. I myself had the pulled pork platter with two sides consisting of Broccoli salad and French fries. My son and husband chose burgers The sunrise burger with fries and the bandit burger with fries. Let me just say everything was delicious the fries you can tell are hand cut. The pulled pork was flavorful as well as the broccoli salad. The burgers were cooked to the desired temperature as well...
