Off of the beaten path is an understatement, butI found it absolutely worth the trip.

The tasting is absolutely worth the price, and it's excellent when the person running it knows the wines, obviously is enthusiastic about them, and also happens to own the place.

I'm a fan of supporting the local agricultural products,and this is a place worth supporting.

This is my favorite winery in Virginia. The owners are happy to answer questions and they're very knowledgeable. Carolyn is so friendly and personable. My favorite wines are the Chambourcin and the Bay Blu White Blend, although you really can't go wrong. I have joined the wine club that offers your choice in3 bottles of wine and a party in February May August and November! Can't beat that! Also some local artists like Carolyn offer some handmade souvenirs and crafts...
