Excellent service and food. Beautiful surroundings. Feels like a Thanksgiving dinner with family in an elegant older estate. Sad they are closing again but so happy we were able to dine on the last day. Praying for a speedy reopening.

Wonderful food and service. Our ignorant governor needs to get out of the way and allow restruants and businesses do what they do best. Serve the public and keep our economy going.

Love the place but you should make people aware of the new policies. The first portions are not larger as stated by our waitress. $2 cheaper when most people drive from farther away isn't it. No refills on food but refills on drinks ok. Don't understand that part. Food is good.

Covid-19 has caused them to eliminate all you can eat. 2 of us dined with 3 pieces of chicken to share. We ordered Roast Beef. 3 pieces issued to share. We tried to order and offered to pay for more chicken for dine in. Told no. We asked how much to go price. 8 pieces for $14. I wanted to leave because it is difficult to share 3 pieces if chicken. I was initially told there would be generous portions. We eventually bought 3 pieces more. Prices unclear for dine in. Told prices were lowered to my boyfriend before arriving. Previous placemats put on table with original pricing. 3 biscuits for 2 people. I don't go there for the vegetables. Odd number of items for 2. Will return again once clearer.

The bucolic location setting after a lovely autumnal 3/4 hr -motoring from home was worth the trouble as being seated and treated to a full country dinner fare ? ??

Delicious chicken, the cobbler tasted off though.The atmosphere was amazing, too bad I didn't get to see the inside due to covid- buy ill be returning again when the lobby is open

The BEST fried chicken! It’s just like going to eat at your grandma’s house. It’s been a family favorite for years. The views are beautiful as you drive up the mountain and as you pull in the driveway. The staff and owners (Wingates) are so friendly and wonderful. You never leave this place hungry.

Always over-delivers!! Great service, amazing food! So glad to see they have opened back up!! Portions are generous! (Even though they had made some modifications since Covid.)
