The staff were also very friendly.

Over all, everything was good. We had sundae and bossam, next time I want to try some soups with soju. There were many people which means it should be a nice place.

A small but clean Korean restaurant with friendly staff. We ordered bossam (bossam), sundae (blood sausage), budaejjigae (Korean army stew), donkatsu (pork cutlet), and tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cakes). As expected from a sundae specialty restaurant, the sundae was chewy and delicious.

Good food and nice service. Never a quiet moment here which speaks to the food quality, taste, and atmosphere. Enjoy!

Service is terrible and food tastes bad. Some of the dishes tasted it was old and going bad. I been going here for long time but I think it’s time to stop. Will not return again.

I recommend the regular soondae and jokbal. Try out their soups as well. I didn't really like the other soondae, but that's probably more of a personal preference. The jokbal is so good though. It comes with side dishes that complement the main dish so well.

Generously portioned dishes with attentive and polite service. The soondae and egg soufflé were quite good, though the spicy pork neck soup lacked flavor.

During my visit, I didn’t see any non-Korean speakers in the restaurant, but this spot is worth considering despite its location. It offers some of the most authentic Korean food you’ll find.

This place was a pride of Koreans in the DMV area, a place that’s comparable to NJ or LA where all the good Korean restaurants are located; however, can’t say that anymore. Every menu here became ordinary. They are not bad but it doesn’t give me goosebumps like it used to. Especially Soondaetang became so average that I can’t even call this place Soondae specialty place. Again, still pretty good compared to other restaurants selling soondaetang, but would not give more than 4 stars here.

I paid $21 on Uber Eats for a bowl of soondae-guk, thinking it must be worth the price. But when I opened the package… wow. Just three pieces of soondae, barely any meat in the soup, three tiny pieces of kimchi, and the kkakdugi was chopped so small it looked like it was made for ants. I seriously feel like they thought I wasn’t Korean and tried to rip me off. Haha.

I’ve ordered from plenty of other soondae-guk places for takeout, but this was my first time trying this one—and I was so shocked, I had to leave a review. I don’t know how well you expect to live by cutting corners like this. As a Korean, I just want to say—please don’t scam foreigners. It’s embarrassing.
