Artisana Pizza in Dumfries, VA, is an absolute gem! Their garlic focaccia bread is a must-try—it's perfectly baked with a soft, airy texture inside and a crispy crust outside, all infused with just the right amount of garlic and herbs. It’s a great way to start the meal and pairs wonderfully with any of their main dishes.
But the real star for me is their meatball pizza. The crust is thin, yet has that perfect crunch, while the sauce is rich and flavorful. The meatballs are juicy and seasoned to perfection, making each bite incredibly satisfying. The balance of cheese and toppings is spot on, creating a delicious experience that keeps you coming back for more. Artisana Pizza has definitely mastered the art of flavor, and it's a place I’ll be recommending to all my friends!

Chef review: Honestly the best pizza I've ever had. The crust and toppings are 10/10 satisfying. The sauce is uniquely sweet and robust while also being smooth and yummy (coming from someone who doesn't enjoy tomato sauce) The only thing I'm mad at is the fact I've slept on this place until now. Will be returning for every pizza craving??.

No idea why this place is empty! This is my second time coming and it’s so good! Service is good and the environment feels comfortable! I love the dolce vita pizza!! My friends got the pepperoni picante and the Blanca, which they loved!
This place serves personal pizzas, sandwiches and different appetizers. They got a wine and drink menu as well! It’s super clean and they got tvs to watch sports. Wonderful place for a casual lunch or dinner!!

Artisana is a bit of an Easter egg. Hiding in plain sight and adjoined to Revolution, you can have great pizza right out of a brick oven in a quaint dining room.
The atmosphere is fast casual all the way, and the pizza falls somewhere between Mod Pizza and Caio Osteria - without the grease of Mod nor the claustrophobia and sticker shock of Caio.
I definitely recommend paying them a vist.

Delicious brick oven pizza. I crafted my own with vegan cheese & veggies. Delicious crust, very fresh ingredients & not at all greasy. They also have an Impossible sausage pizza. Would have given 5 stars but app only allows 5 stars for fully Vegan restaurants.

We ordered the pepperoni and dolce vita pizzas to go. When we got home and started eating, my husband found two long hairs inside the arugula salad on top of the dolce vita pizza. He literally took a bite and the hairs were sticking out of his mouth. Absolutely disgusting. We called them immediately and they said they couldn’t refund my card, and that the most they could do was send a reward to my Toast account (which I’ve yet to see.) I wouldn’t order from here again anyway, as this shows a lack of hygiene and kitchen cleanliness from the kitchen staff. Do not recommend coming here.

I visited Artisana Pizza for the first time over the weekend, and I was not disappointed! I ordered the burrata & tomato shareable, as well as an “individual” size make your own pizza. The sizes of both dishes were pleasantly surprising, and all the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. Even the leftover pizza tasted delicious. I will absolutely be back the next time I am in the area.
