The inside is nice in terms of decoration and atmosphere, but it can get loud if you’re going there to study. It’s more of a social place, so don’t come if you need to get work done. Service is alright. Nothing special. Unfortunately the matcha does not taste good here. It’s extremely bland and lacks a lot of flavor. This is my second or third time, trying different drinks hoping something would be good. But the matcha latte was so disappointing. would not recommend this place getting a different matcha because I don’t know what they use. They have a sweetener on the side that doesn’t do the matcha any better. Don’t waste your money here. I wish I got a refund. I would recommend going to matcha maiko because they have much better quality and actually have flavor.

Matcha soft serve has that authentic bitterness. That makes the swirl a great mix of bitter-sweetness. My personal favorite in the DMV area. I must stop by this place every time I go to Centreville.

Bon Tea is a “must visit” every time we come to nova. The seasonal soft serve swirl with matcha is always delicious. The high quality matcha is very rich and deep green. Always friendly service who works fast through the crowds that form.
The seasonal flavor Fresh Milk from their Instagram, is their original flavor pairing. It was soooo good! A sweet creamy mix with the rich matcha. Very glad we could try it asap!

Cute and aesthetic cafe serving delicious drinks and eats. I always get the mixed soft serve here (matcha and the seasonal flavor.) I’ve tried the Thai tea and banana milk flavors, and both work really well with the matcha. The matcha flavor is not overwhelming and allows the paired flavor to shine as well! I always look forward to seeing the new seasonal flavor for this reason!
In the summertime Bôn Tea hosts weekly markets, with small shops offering a variety of food, treats and goods vendor. I also love stopping by here to see what goods I’m going to take home with me!

This is my family's go to ice cream place! We love the monthly flavors at Bon, especially thee strawberry, and the workers are very friendly. The place is nice too :))

I had one cup of tea and a cup of swirl. The swirl was good. I don't know about the tea- wasn't the quality I expected from a "tea" place. There are some rooms for emprovement for sure. The employees were somewhat unprofessional in terms of their attire and hygiene status.. long hair swishing around and long nails- really? Not when you are making something people drink and eat? Also, it took them almost 10 mins to make 2 cup of teas-I happened to be watching them cause I got a clear view... there weren't that many people or orders- but one employee was waiting for another one so that she could tell the other one to make those teas. We had to go and ask them about the teas and that was when they started making them.

I had the matcha and vegan strawberry soft serve swirl. It was amazing! As I understand, they rotate their soft serve flavors weekly. This was my first time going, but I will definitely be back. The affogato looked amazing. I wish I would have taken a picture, but I was too busy eating it was so good.

Went in at 8:43pm and they said drinks are closed 10-15minutes closing time. How is this a tea/drink place if they don’t serve drinks? She said the only thing they can serve at that time is ice cream.
