My daughters got food poisoning after eating at this place on Aug 27, 2024. Food tasted like metal and have a very bad smell, in top of that after manager was told about this problem, they were still charge for the food.

They charge a 20% tip automatically for bad service. The waitress didn't explain any extra charges for sauce and noodles. Total rip-off.
Super sad to see it’s “temporarily closed”. They were great before the re-model but they were even better after it. The food was always THE BEST !!! Servers & atmosphere were also always great. The 20% service fee never bothered me because I always planned to tip my servers for their attentiveness anyways. If your complaining about the price, remind your self it’s seafood your eating & not McDonald’s also don’t even lie to yourself you know anything you ever ate here was ?to die for, it was sooo good. I hope that they do re-open.
Kid-friendliness: They were also kid-friendly for a fancy seafood restaurant. The thick paper table clothes were the best (kids were allowed to color all over them which was so fun). They also had a little secret kids menu with kid friendly options (which is always very thoughtful and nice).

IG social media said they closed this site because of the many 1-star reviews after the remodel. It’s 4.4 stars currently, but here’s the negative review that they’re wanting.1-star rating is joke. This site is closed, the review doesn’t matter.
I am so sorry to hear that this location is closed, but I knew it would be closed soon, because management didn't care about customers.. for example, they charged 20% service fee automatically, you even need to pay sales tax on this service fee and foods are pricy. Recently, They sold unfresh crawfish.

The menu has changed, we went from loving it to never going back again. Staff was great but the actual food besides the fries were terrible we couldn’t even finish our food and was no where near the $200 we spent. We are very disappointed :(

I’m not sure whose idea it was to revamp the restaurant menu like they’ve done, but it was the worst decision Chasing Tails could have made. The new menu leaves much to be desired and it is extremely expensive now on top of the automatic 20% service fee (which I understand) This is nothing like the Chasing Tails I came to love and previously frequented. I will say service was great! But there were only 2 other occupied tables in the whole restaurant during our visit which was a bit jarring to me. Needless to say, we won’t be returning and I will cease recommending until and unless they change the menu back by some miracle. What a pity…
Kid-friendliness: Restaurant is not kid friendly as there is no kids menu or options other than french fries and garlicky noodles.

Food was good, but pricey. Automatic service charge of 20% for 2 people irritates

I really didn't know what to expect of this restaurant. It had good reviews and was recommended by concierge. We were seated promptly and Jordy was our server. He was excellent. Everything we ordered was very good, with the exception of the salmon. It was dry and lacked flavor. I would recommend if you're looking for a comfortable place to eat crab boils and seafood.

Food was good. Server was excellent! Almost empty restaurant at 6-7:30PM when we dined. Good for me b/c I hate LOUD people. No crowd at all so made my dining blissful. ONLY problem: way too expensive. So yeah the place changed the menu and upgraded silverware and using butter BUT price is ridiculous! MUCH MUCH prefer the Seafood Boil in a bag where entire seafood, corn, potatoes get cooked TOGETHER with the seasoning like the previous style. Now, you cook the items by itself and then topple the sauce on top: this makes my seafood bland with no seasoning infused once shells are peeled. Much prefer old style. Have a feeling, Centreville location will be out of business soon. No one can afford this nonsense!
Our friends and we celebrated our wedding anniversaries together and the staff made sure we had a memorable time. They were very friendly and caring and checked in during the meal to ask if we had everything we needed. The food was excellent and plentiful and the prices were reasonable. Will be back for sure!
First time eating here and I liked it. The place was clean and welcoming. Great attentitive staff. The food was really good. Just wish the 20% gratuity wasn't automatically included. I'd rather tip myself in cash, but they do make you aware of it even before you walk in, which is good.
