Gogiville, VA, is situated at Centrewood Plaza, a strip mall featuring various Korean restaurants and a Giant Supermarket. This restaurant is famous for its Korean barbecue combo sets. I visited for lunch from the à la carte menu and was glad to discover they offer lunch specials—Soft Tofu Soup, Galbitang, or Hot Stone Bibimbap for $12.99 each. These are available for dine-in only, from 11 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, and include refillable side dishes.
The staff served complimentary hot Bori-cha (roasted barley tea) on this cold day, a thoughtful touch. I ordered the dolsot bibimbap, which felt small but offered great value; it tasted good and healthy, with vegetables, a fried egg, and beef over rice with mild sweet chili sauce. The seafood pancake was also small but tasty, though I wished it contained more seafood, as it felt a bit carb-heavy.
Service was attentive and friendly, ventilation was good, as there were other tables with BBQ lunches, and the atmosphere was good, with a traditional Korean mural and clean tables. I will definitely come back and try their popular Korean BBQ combo next time.

We stumbled on this restaurant because we saw so many people going inside. All those people were right! Now, this is authentic. So, Americans should not be afraid to ask for recommendations. We did. And were rewarded with amazing food, service, and kindness. I live an hour away from this restaurant and WILL go back just to visit again. Reservations might be needed. But, we did not need them on our first visit (a Friday night).

Excellent smoke control - very rarely you dined at K BBQ and your clothes still smells good afterwards. Food tastes good with big portion as well - the 2-people combo is enough for 3 adults + 1 kid.

This used to be one of our go-to places for KBBQ. But with the increased prices and meat quality noticeably lowered, it’s a stretch to say it’s a good place to go now. Not to mention, we went with one of our friends with their baby, and we with our baby, and they charged us for 6 people (4 adults), slapping on an automatic 20% gratuity. Mind you, the babies were 9 months old, not eating any of their food. We brought our own food from home to feed them. Pretty inconsiderate. And not sure if it’s because the weather is getting cooler, but it felt like the AC was off the whole time we were dining there, making it uncomfortably hot inside. Won’t be recommending or going again. No thanks.
If you like meokja in Fairfax, you’ll like Gogiville. I would say it’s a 1a/1b situation
