6 people on 1 grill is a terrible experience.
The cut off is 7 people for the 2 burners. Service definitely left a lot to be desired as well. The ventilation was sub par and some people at our table had irritated eyes. It’s also a bit too dark inside for my tastes.
I will say, the food was very good. Flavor wise this is the best I’ve had in the area. I would only recommend this if your party is under 4 people or you have 7/8 people.

As me and my friends were getting ready to leave, our waiter came up to our table asking if he did anything wrong or if something was wrong with the service. My friends and I all tipped what we thought he deserved, yet he still came up to us asking if “something was wrong”. Just ask for more tip at that point. The food and atmosphere were nice but our waiter was not attentive at all. We didn’t get a single refill for my water and we had to wait a while to get a refill for a sauce.

The food and atmosphere overall was good but our waiter wasn’t very attentive would just drop off food and leave plus we got zero refills. In the middle of eating he gave us the bill when we hadn’t even asked for it as if indirectly kicking us out and as we were packing up to leave he asked us if we had a problem with his service since we obviously did not tip him enough. He was I think crew member #26

our waiter finally came up to us at the end of the service to ask if everything was good like where was that energy during the shift like he was mad we didn’t tip 20% or something yet didn’t even do refills. he also checked us out early and didn’t come back, only to ask if something was wrong w the service as we were leaving… like be serious if u cannot figure it out on ur own then waiting isn’t a job for u…. annandale location would never. he was some white guy w a name like mangeshi something like that #26

Outstanding service! Our server juwon went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. Friendly, professional, and truly caring. One of the best service experiences I’ve had.
So much to type but all I have to say what an experience. Never again .

Food and atmosphere were in par with other locations (this was my first time at the centreville location). But service was by far the worst I have experienced at any restaurant in a long time. Our server was just down right rude and had such a negative attitude that we left our meal early. And when it was time for the check, she made a point to not show us the itemized check, telling us we are being charged for 3 sodas and 4 adult dinners, and then asking for tip and payment. She put 20% tip on the check and was trying to get double grat. I wouldn't have minded her trying to pull one over on us of she had atleast been pleasant. Really disappointing experience.

My family loves Iron Age! It’s definitely a treat for us because it can get pricey if you add drinks, but we have always had a great experience here.
I brought my daughters here a few days ago for my oldest’s 21st birthday. We didn’t say anything, but the waiter who checked her ID noted that it was her birthday. When they brought the bill, they also brought a slice of cheesecake with a sparkler and wished her a happy birthday. It was a really great experience and very appreciated!

Sage is the best sever I’ve had at Iron Age. He is professional, respectful, and wholesome. The table next to us was obnoxious, rude, and attempted to bully the server into breaking the no ID alcohol policy. Sage maintained composure and stood his ground in a professional manner. Overall a great experience, thank you sage !

We have been to this location twice, the first time we went my stomach was awful and sickly by the time we left, this time I tried to ensure we cooked everything fully, we didn’t leave anything on the table long, and that we appropriately cooked meats according to their specifications while using our phone timer. My stomach is yet again sickly and unbearable which leads me to concerns over how the meat is kept along with the sides (IE proper temperature, not cross contaminating, disposal times, preparation) aside from that the atmosphere is very dark, I don’t understand the uncomfortable seating either, you step up onto a platform to then shoot in chairs? Which aren’t comfortable. I would much rather a booth. Onto the next thing when we did arrive it took a host roughly 10 minutes to greet us which wasn’t a big deal but can be when you’re waiting to just be acknowledged. Lastly OUR SERVER was perfect, however I felt like he did struggle with the grill temperature as some of the food took very long to cook and some cooked quickly not throughly and he did adjust the knob several times, I do want to state my husband ordered a drink from the bar (not sure if it’s a bar area or just a counter/checkout for hosts/servers) anyway it took awhile to get this drink and several times we looked over and it was roughly 4 employees standing around talking, the ones specifically that stuck out was a young lady talking to a male co-worker, long live romance but not at work. It was just slightly unprofessional and unhygienic as she was leaned over the countertop with a black button up blouse with slight exposure. The corn is delicious but it is served in such a small tin that it makes you not want to waste your time getting. The food is mostly bland though they give you two trays of sauce to use I wish it came more flavorful or at least add salt and pepper to the tables for the very basic. The steak and pork were very fatty, the beef bilougi (maybe misspelled forgive me) was also fatty/stringy and below our expectations at that time my husband and I looked at each other and agreed that the brisket is the only real thing worth ordering. Sort of sad for all the hype we heard about this place to just the real general experience. Definitely if it’s 30 per person the service, food and atmosphere need to be better.

I recently visited Iron Age for a family meal, and overall, we had a delightful experience with the food and atmosphere. The Korean barbecue was flavorful, and the variety of meats and sides were impressive. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual dining experience.
However, there was an issue with the final bill that left us a bit disappointed. Even though our group consisted of three adults and a child under three, the restaurant still applied a 20% gratuity for a group of four. When I inquired about this policy, I was informed that the child still counted as a full guest, which felt a bit unfair.
While the food and service were commendable, I do hope the restaurant reconsiders this policy for young children in the future. Overall, I'd still recommend Iron Age for anyone looking to enjoy quality Korean barbecue.

Alot of the meats are very fatty. Also the gratuity of 20% is added to parties of 4 or more. I would like mention that I think the service tonight suffered from that tonight. Overall not bad but not great.
Good service on a Saturday night. Servers are very fast and they grill the meat for you so you can relax and enjoy your meal
