BEST KATSU my husband and I have had in the DMV area so far 😊!! We’re a little bit of a Katsu connoisseur since it’s one of our favorite food and this place ATE DOWNNN!! Food came so fast and the gentleman that was serving us this Wednesday evening was so polite and tentative although it was a full house, will definitely be back :)

This is the best Tonkatsu place I’ve ever been to in the US! The shrimp were huge and incredibly fresh. The rice was beautifully translucent with just the right amount of stickiness, and the cabbage salad that comes with the katsu was cool and perfectly crisp.
Besides the katsu, we also ordered the bibim soba, shrimp fried rice, and cheese katsu — every single dish was fantastic. We enjoyed everything so much.
I usually don’t write reviews, but this restaurant is truly special. The owner is still the chef, and you can tell he carefully checks every dish to make sure it comes out delicious. The service was great, the food was amazing, and all the sauces are house-made.
This place is a hidden gem in Northern VA. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

I've walked by this place a hundred times. Today I met my Tonkatsu destiny when I stepped in for lunch. The house made wasabi and chili oil alone are worth the trip, but the perfection of the technique on the Tonkatsu make this place top tier in my book! Well done!

Really loved eating here! The food is great and the service is friendly. The atmosphere is very nice. The udon broth isn’t super deep but it is still good nonetheless. The pork katsu is great! Everything is not super salty and still flavorful.

We visited for the first time last week and got instantly hooked, we’ve already been back within a week! So far, we’ve tried the corn cheese, chicken karaage, chicken katsu, and bulgogi donburi, and every single dish has been amazing. Both the chicken katsu and chicken karaage were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy inside.The bulgogi was melt-in-your-mouth tender and packed with the most amazing flavor. All the flavors are rich yet perfectly balanced, and everything tastes so fresh. The customer service is amazing, and we even got to learn more about the dishes and their incredible sauces while dining. I can’t wait to keep exploring the menu and make this one of our regular spots!
