One of the best fry Chiken and price, $11 you will not find this around Fairfax anymore.
So a while ago I would have said that I would give 4 stars to this restaurant. I and my spouse would eat here all the time especially when I was pregnant. We would order 2 vegetarian 🥗 platters for 2 and the portions were good. We have since moved out the area and came back because we had appointments near by. We ordered two vegetarian platters for two for ourselves and our twins and paid for the equivalent of 4 meals but only received 2 meals and they were definitely not portions for 4 adults. They were the size of the individual portion of vegetarian platters when you order it. The service is never as good when the sister is in charge and the owner is not present. I often leave and don’t order when the owner isn’t there. She tried to convince is that the amounts in the containers were for 4 people. The only thing that was enough for four Pepe was the injera. We are not sure we will return. It’s sad because the food is amazing.
Loved our Manna bistro experience. We are always on the lookout for Ethiopian restaurants in our area, and this one is a winner. The red lentils and chicken wat were standout items.
Why is t hat the case, do you ask? They control the level of oil and their dishes and balance the spice level based on your request. The prices are extremely reasonable based on the quality and quantity provided. The six dish and 2-person combination platter is easily good enough for 2 people for lunch.
The Ethiopian bean based coffee was also excellent, and service was with a smile. We will definitely visit again.
It is interesting that they have added Latin American cuisine to their menu as well. I don't know the quality of it but they had quite a few clients enjoying it
There were four of us on a road trip, 2 vegetarians & 2 meativores, so it can be hard finding a place with dinner options for everyone. We got the mixed Ethiopian vegetarian dish for two, plus a mixture of tacos and pupusas, and everyone was happy with their food. The tortillas were soft and delicious and obviously homemade, so that was nice. It was good to have Ethiopian options and Mexican options on the same menu. Would definitely go back when I’m driving through NoVa.
Great place to taste Ethiopian delicious foods.
My new favorite Ethiopian spot!! Fresh food and kind people. Just what I'd expect from Habesha!!! I spent over $100 because we purchased items for home. We got tej, ingera, berber, etc.
When you order on website, and then when you come back to pick up, they charge you extra. She explained because website force you to order sides (gomen, misser) showing without price, then when you come we have to add on it. Never heard that before, she said it is new.

The food was great! We enjoyed the lamb and the raw beef dish they were both DELICIOUS! I wasn't impressed with the spicy lentils, which I felt lacked a bit flavor. But I would definitely come back again and try other things.

Phenomenal Ethiopian food and bakery! I had the Sinig as a starter and the Vegetarian Combination Platter (naturally vegan) for my main meal. Both were great! The espresso is also very, very good. Ethiopian coffee beans, injera, lentils, etc. all for sale in bulk!
Vegetarian options: All vegetarian options are also vegan!

We got the vegetarian combo for one and bed tibs. It was all excellent, generous portions, terrific service. The cafe also has an extensive Salvadorian menu which many customers seemed to be enjoying. We weee very happy with our experience. Music was a bit loud.

I’ve had a lot of Ethiopian food in the DMV area, and this is probably the best I’ve had. Although I was a bit confused when I first arrived since they only had drinks & Mexican food options on the blackboard. However, menu booklet had a variety of Ethiopian & Mexican options.I got the vegetarian & meat combo & it was very flavorful! My fiancé got the pupusa & beef dish. This place definitely catered to our different flavor palettes. It’s a gem; I highly recommend!

That is ok if you go there to eat food. But if you want to eat Ethiopian food this isn't the place to go. Nothing is Ethiopian. It is Mexican restaurant.Service is great! Nice people good conversations.
