The fluffy pancakes were made just like the ones in Japan, soft, airy, and incredibly good. Honestly, they might be some of the best pancakes I’ve had in years. I’d definitely go back to this place.

If you like a small anime figure store with a half cafe, this is the place. Small in size however its has amazing food. Would recommend anyone to come here.

Don’t be fooled by the spartan atmosphere. This is the real deal. Order the spam first. Yes, I know. You did not come here for spam, but it is unbelievably tasty. Then try the onigari curry. You will thank me. If you are into suffles, then order whatever you like. They are good.

My daughter and I love this cafe. The shrimp katsu sandwiches are delicious and our favorite. You have to try their souffle, also!

One of the very few places that gives some of the closest meal comparisons to what you actually taste in Japan, can't beat authenticity, absolutely must try once if you have not.

The place itself is very cozy and friendly. The portions are fair for their prices. I ordered the strawberry cakes and I ordered the banana chocolate ones to go. They were tasty and good at first, however, the more you eat it you can taste the egg in the pancakes. I would prefer something less eggy next time! I’m not a matcha drinker but the apple matcha drink they have is amazing!

I purchased the strawberry pancake, it was good but not overwhelming. I’ve had these before in Japan, so it’s definitely a different taste but it does bring me back. I can taste real egg was used and the top cream is just right, not too much sweet. The inside is smaller than I expected so be prepared to wait or take out, there isn’t a lot of table or seats available.

There are enough parking spaces, but be prepared it might be full because this place is in a plaza with lots of restaurants and stores in the same area.

Compared to the souffle pancakes I had in NYC years ago, what this place has in the DMV area is not bad. We got the matcha and strawberry souffle along with matcha latte. The matcha souffle has a mochi sheet on top.

I celebrated my birthday here and had a great experience. The space is small and intimate, perfect for a relaxed meal. Most dishes were fantastic—especially the spicy salmon onigiri, which was packed with flavor. The only miss for me was the soufflé pancake; it leaned a bit too eggy for my taste. Still, I’m excited to come back and try the curry.

I spent a little over $70.00 for everything.

I waited for 30 minutes for 1 pancake, they probably hunt down pancakes outside and process it inside that's why it took so long... Other than that exceptional pancake, delicious.. And very good atmosphere. Please work on the speed!!
