I’ve been forced to go here every year by random uncles and aunties since I moved to the NOVA area, and every year it continues to disappoint me more and more.

The management is archaic, the restaurant is dirty, and the food is a disgrace to Indian cuisine. They keep tubs of food sitting out all day, then scoop the same watery, flavorless slop onto plates as if it’s freshly made. Every time, I’ve left with stomach problems that linger for nearly a week.

Their so-called gravies are nothing but watered-down mixtures, the sabzis are bland and lifeless, and the naan tastes like cardboard. The food has no authenticity, no spice, no soul, just an insult to what Indian food should be. The customer service is equally terrible, with staff acting as if they’re doing you a favor by acknowledging you at all.

It’s terrible that they even call this “Indian food.” This place gives us a bad name in the community, and it’s shocking that they’re still in business. Centreville deserves better… much better than Preet Palace..

They have jalebi, 5 stars! My husband and I went on Saturday for their lunch buffet. All the food was great, service was great, and place was very clean.

The Rating deserves to be negative.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and today was hands-down the worst experience yet. Four out of five vegetarian buffet trays were bone-dry. When I pointed this out, the server shrugged and lectured me about “serving fresh food” instead of simply refilling the trays. That excuse is pathetic—he clearly has no clue how to manage basic capacity planning.

Worse still, he acted like it was my fault for expecting a fully stocked buffet. His rude, dismissive attitude was insulting. I’ve never been treated so poorly in a restaurant that’s supposed to cater to vegetarians.

This level of incompetence and rudeness is unacceptable. I won’t be back.

Worst Indian food restaurant ever. Food is okay, however the servers & waitresses have ugly attitude. From owner to other workers, all seem to lack basic knowledge on how to treat others.

food here was delicious but sadly let down by service they lack basic restaurant service etiquette.. staff along with their owner are really rude there’s one young waitress she lacks common sense she totally ruined our moment ...it felt like they’re doing injustice to kitchen because the taste of food ultimately diminishes if you can’t enjoy it properly
Won’t visit here again .. probably won’t recommend it to anyone else but if you can ignore their rubbish attitude then you can pay a visit

So glad we came here. Lovely variety of southern and northern Indian delights. Staff are very friendly. The desserts are very yummy. My 6 year old enjoyed his lunch very much. $19 for an extra good weekend buffet. We'll definitely be coming back.

Best place to eat Punjabi, Indian food also if you are looking for a space to book for events, it’s pretty big place, the owner is a very humble and nice person. I highly recommend this place.
