It’s been about 6 years since I was last here and the prices have definitely increased since then, but it’s still well-worth the price! The meats are cut fresh and are of high quality. The service is always great! Their sides are excellent as well. They also have a nice list, though a small one of sake. We thoroughly enjoyed this most recent visit for dinner! The spicy bulgogi was a hit, so was the spicy chicken. The spicy meats aren’t too spicy, they just have a nice kick to them. Definitely the best KBBQ joint I’ve visited.
5 star for foods, and services 😋 😍 👌

I’m sorry the only picture I have from our visit is my Labubu face down.
We’ve been coming to So for many years now and it’s one of our favorite spots in NOVA! Great quality meats, wonderful service who are all kind and attentive, and always a great atmosphere!

Look like alot of restaurants decreased in the quality & service lately. Tried Sō 1 year ago and the food +service is good. However today they are lacking of staff so most of our food wasn't properly grilled, the staff was running marathon in the restaurant. Hence, some of our meat was overcooked and dry.

Great KBBQ option in Centreville! Our server Elizabeth cooked everything perfectly and the sides that we tried were all delicious. Our favorite meats were the galbi and curry pork belly. Only complaint was getting some small bones in the dduk galbi (short rib patty). We'll definitely be back!

We came for early lunch yesterday and there was one gentleman running the front while also tending to all the grills. I felt bad for him but I will say he did amazing and was very helpful! Will definitely come back as everything was delicious

I had one of the worst dining experiences at Sõ Korean BBQ. Not only was the service terrible, but the food was disappointing too. The final straw was when I found a hair in my food, absolutely disgusting.
When I brought it up to the staff, instead of apologizing or trying to make it right, the manager told me I was overreacting. That was honestly shocking and incredibly disrespectful. No customer should ever be made to feel that way, especially when the issue is clearly a health concern.
The rest of the meal wasn’t great either, the flavors were off and the quality was nowhere near what you’d expect for the price and the reviews that shows in here. I left feeling upset and disgusted. I never write reviews but I had to go out my way for this one. I’ll definitely never be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

So Korean is the best Korean bbq restaurant in NOVA. The quality and flavor of the meat, the service from the staff, everything is just great at So Korean. Highly recommend.

It seemed like it should be good, the setup is very authentic for a Korean redtaurant. But I just wasn't impressed by the brisket and pork belly quality. I couldn't tell if it was because it was overcooked, or perhaps something was lacking with the sauces. Either way, it was my first time and I was somewhat disappointed in the taste, I've definitely had better at other places in the area. The side dishes were pretty good and the service was excellent (minus the slightly singed meat).

Nothing short of any of our expectations. We went here on a friend’s recommendation. Best bet is getting the option A with a variety of meats for the table. Best value for the family accompanied by the usual Korean side dishes. Service was top notch. The server went above and beyond.

Very good meats! Favorite for the table was bulgogi for sure. Also great service here
Went here with friends for a birthday, they were very short of staff. Because of this, our waitress was occupying several other tables and kept burning/overcooking our food. They also sat us in the employee supply corner where they store dirty bbq trays. At one point the used trays were literally blowing smoke in our faces because she kept overcooking our food.
That's less of her fault and more of the management. If you're short of staff, let us know in advance. I don't feel like paying $35+ for burnt bulgolgi...
I also went a year ago and it was much better but I'd rather take my chances at Iron Age or Meat Project.

Both AYCE choices are great - can’t go wrong! Best to ether make a reservation or arrive before normal mealtime.

Sŏ Korean BBQ delivers a polished take on the classic Korean BBQ experience — high-quality meats, attentive service, and a modern, stylish atmosphere. It’s great for groups who want the fun of tabletop grilling with a slightly more upscale feel.
